Abstract:

A vertical semiconductor wafer carrier comprises a circular base, a first wafer support rod mounted at a first position proximate a perimeter of the circular base, a second wafer support rod mounted at a second position proximate the perimeter of the circular base, wherein an angle θformed between the first position and the second position relative to a center of the circular base is around 20, a third wafer support rod mounted at a third position proximate the perimeter of the circular base, and a fourth wafer support rod mounted at a fourth position proximate the perimeter of the circular base, wherein an angle θformed between the third position and the fourth position relative to the center of the circular base is around 20, and wherein an angle θformed between the first and fourth positions relative to the center of the circular base is around 180.

Abstract:

A method and apparatus to record one or more customization messages in a storage are described. Each customization message may include one or more predicates specifying applicability of the customization message for a plurality of objects. An operation on the objects may be performed to generate a configuration of a device in response to receiving an event. The configuration may include the objects. Each customization message may be selectively applied to the objects in the configuration to customize the configuration. An object may be updated via the customization message if the predicates match the object in the configuration. The device may be configured via the customized configuration.

Abstract:

A method and an apparatus for an application thinning mechanism are described. The thinning mechanism can select a subset of components from a universal application to assemble an application variant to be distributed and installed to a specific type of devices. The universal application may include every component, such as asset, resource or executable, built/developed for targeted device attributes to install one common application to multiple devices. For example, the thinning mechanism can use a trait vector associated with a type of devices to iterate through the components and identify assets to be included or packaged into in each target device specific application or application variant.
