Abstract:
A system for varying the function of a keyboard using a plurality of status keys to select a function. The status keys form a binary which are decoded in a first word decoder forming a single word which are fed to a plurality of binary decoders one each associated with one of the information keys on the keyboard for controlling the readout thereof. The information keys are also switches that activate a word encoder for producing a final output. A comparator gate can be interposed between the word encoder and the selection switches of the information keys, the gate being enabled by the first word decoder. The decoded word originating from the status keys also feed a segment decoder which activates segments surrounding selected information key elements.

Attacker sentenced 17-years after setting boy on fire with gasoline
HOUSTON - Almost 17 years after a little boy in Splendora named Robbie Middleton was doused with gasoline and set on fire, his attacker has finally be sentenced. A Galveston jury gave Don Collins the maximum 40 years Tuesday after convicting him of capital murder.
Defense attorney E. Tay Bond told jurors during closing arguments Monday in the capital murder trial of Don Collins that Robert Middleton identified Collins as his attacker because his mother planted a seed in his mind regarding what happened.Robert adopted what was being told to him by his mother. It was a memory given to a child and nurtured over the years, Bond said. In Colleen Middletons mind, she believes Don Collins did it but that doesnt mean its true.
He told that Don Collins burned him, and more than this, in May of 2011 he told that Don Collins sexually assaulted him, the judge said. I find this child's testimony during the video deposition to be credible and to be true.

Friends, family celebrate BMX racer Bennett's impact on lives
Bennett's mother, Donnell Purse, grandfather, Don Collins, and fiance, Lynsie Argenti, sat nearby as Cody Machala, 18, wheeled one of Bennett's bicycles into the semicircle of mourners and draped one of Bennett's No. 88 racing jerseys across the handlebars.
Thompson, a junior guard, passed Don Collins for third in career scoring at WSU. Kyle Fogg, who helped limit Thompson to nine points in Arizona's 65-63 win at Pullman last month, again played aggressive defense against Thompson.
