Abstract:

An adjustable container includes top, bottom and four side panels. Each of the four side panels is scored along at least one longitudinal score line extending substantially parallel to the top and bottom panels. Two of the opposing side panels are scored along oblique score lines, each oblique score line extending from one corner of the side panel toward and intersecting the longitudinal score line. The height of the container is adjustable by folding the side panels inwardly toward the interior of the container along the longitudinal and oblique score lines.

Abstract:

A self-lubricating bearing assembly for supporting a load on a guide rail which includes a carriage having first and second ends, a guide surface adapter for translation atop the guide rail and an end cap assembly which mounts adjacent one of the ends of the carriage. The end cap assembly includes a seal and a lubricating assembly having a lubricating block made from a lubricant composition and a compression housing for enclosing a periphery of the lubricating block and for biasing the lubricating block against the guide rail to cause the lubricant to contact the rail.

A miter saw includes a tool adjustment unit having a joint pivotable about an axis, a guide rail spaced from and coupled to the joint so as to pivot about the axis, a saw housing mounted on the guide rail and a linear motion bearing assembly, which is positioned between the guide rail and the saw housing. Abstract:

A bearing assembly includes at least one and preferably two ball tracks each having a load-bearing portion, a return portion, and a turn-around portion, and a plurality of bearing balls, wherein the ball track is configured for the guided recirculation of the bearing balls. The bearing assembly includes a housing block with a channel at its distal end for receiving a movable shaft. The channel includes an elongated window aligned with each of the load-bearing portions of the tracks, the window allowing portions of the bearing balls to protrude therethrough to support the shaft. Abstract:

The present invention is a disposable cushion inserts for shoes designed to temper forces imparted on a foot during activities such as walking and running. The cushion insert in one embodiment has first and second layers conjoined by a bonding method taken from the group of adhesive and ultrasonics. The first layer is constructed of fibrous material taken from the group of fiber crops and polymers that will be treated to have a low moisture content and absorbency with a plurality of air passages apertures passing between the second layer and the cushioned insert exterior. The second layer is manufactured from a cross-linked open cell silicone material having a plurality of conjoined truncated-apex square pyramids where the walls enclose a central cavity with open bottoms providing a structure that is mostly ambient air-filled space that when released from a compressed state returns to its original form. Each of the truncated-apex surfaces has an aperture placed therethrough providing passage for air between each of the pyramid-shaped cavities and the cushioned-insert exterior. Also provides is an embodiment having a base layer conjoined to the second layer manufactured from a frictional material to prevent slippage of the cushioned insert during use.

Abstract:

A box includes a plurality of outer panels collectively bounding an accommodation space for accommodating at least one item. At least some of the outer side panels have integrally formed inner side panels. The inner side panels may be automatically distanced from their respective outer side panels by moving the outer side panels from a collapsed flat position to an erected position. Certain panels of the box may be folded back on adjacent panels. The space between two panels may be utilized. For example it may be a display space, a compartment accessible through an opening panel, or a storage space for a dispenser pack. Opening or closing a panel on the box, or another action on the box, may trigger various functions of the box components or contents.

Abstract:

A packaging folder is provided comprising a plurality of panels bounding an internal space for accommodating an item or items. The dimensions of the internal space may be varied by selectively leaving in or removing one or more removable plug panels. The selective leaving in or removing of plug panels provides different internal compartment configurations for securing an item or items. The packaging folder may comprise a front cover and a back cover, foldable together like a book to surround the internal compartment or compartments. The back cover and front cover may be secured in the folded condition, for example by glue, such that the folder cannot be opened without tearing the folder. A spine of the packaging folder may be provided with a tear tape to facilitate opening of the folder.
