Abstract:

An underbody car wash sprayer for home-use, which can be hooked up solely to a garden hose or in combination with a pressure washer. The device utilizes a three nozzled “I” design, supported by four swiveling casters. In addition, it is connected to an ergonomically effective wand system to allow easy maneuverability under the vehicle. Finally, in some embodiments a trigger spray gun acts as a handle and pressure regulator. The compactness of the specific design allows for significant material reduction and hence a reduction in production costs, providing the consumer with a more economical choice. Additionally, the concentrated pressure and spray pattern of the “I” design along with its precision maneuverability allows the consumer to easily access and forcefully remove sediment adhesions to the vehicle underbody while controlling water flow at all times with a trigger spray gun.

Abstract:

A coaxial connector in combination with a coaxial cable is provided with an inner conductor supported coaxial within an outer conductor, a polymer jacket surrounding the outer conductor. A unitary connector body with a bore is provided with an overbody surrounding an outer diameter of the connector body. The outer conductor is inserted within the bore. A molecular bond is formed between the outer conductor and the connector body and between the jacket and the overbody. An inner conductor end cap may also be provided coupled to the end of the inner conductor via a molecular bond.

Abstract:

The present invention is directed to a bone marrow biopsy needle including an outer cannula having a proximal end, a distal end, a hollow section therebetween and a handle portion associated with the proximal end, and an inner rod having a proximal end, a distal end and a handle cap. The handle portion further includes a grip enhancement member which is formed from a material distinct from at least a portion of the handle portion, such as rubber. The grip enhancement member may take the form of insert members which fit into cavities in the handle portion of the outer cannula. The grip enhancement member not only enhances the gripping surface of the bone marrow biopsy needle, but also provides cushioning for a user and adds weight to the handle portion to facilitate weight distribution throughout the outer cannula handle.

Abstract:

The present invention is directed to a bone marrow biopsy device including an outer cannula, an outer cannula handle having a locking member, an inner rod, an inner rod handle having a locking member, and an independent locking element. The outer cannula handle locking member further comprises a flange element, and the inner rod handle locking member further comprises at least one prong. In one embodiment, the locking element comprises a cylindrical sleeve surrounding the at least one prong and the flange element. The cylindrical sleeve comprises at least one slot which aligns with the at least one prong when the locking element is in its unlocked orientation. The locking element is placed into its locked orientation by rotation of the locking element about the at least one prong and the flange element such that the at least one prong no longer aligns with the at least one slot and is therefore prevented from passing over the flange element. In another embodiment, the locking element comprises at least one bar extending completely through the inner rod handle, preventing disengagement of the at least one prong from the at least one flange element. Further, the bone marrow biopsy device may include at least one grip enhancement member formed from a material distinct from that of the handles, which may extend outwardly such that the user's palm is prevented from coming in contact with the locking element during use of the device.
