    Dec 28, 2020
  • Appl. No.:
    17/134579
  • Inventors:
    - Armonk NY, US
Jill Dhillon - Austin TX, US
  • International Classification:
    G09B 7/00
    G06F 40/35
    G06F 16/9032
    G06F 16/435
  • Abstract:
In an approach for a user research cognitive assistant for matching personas and providing experience insights, a processor receives persona data based on user experience to be modeled. A processor receives interview data associated with research candidates. A processor identifies one or more target candidates based on a match between the persona data and the interview data. A processor monitors the one or more target candidates for the match during an interview. A processor generates an insight with data synthesis identifying an experience level of the one or more target candidates. A processor determines a need of additional recruitment based on the insight and the persona data.
  • Optimizing Processing Methods Of Multiple Batched Articles Having Different Characteristics

    view source
  • US Patent:
    20200392661, Dec 17, 2020
  • Filed:
    Jun 11, 2019
  • Appl. No.:
    16/437475
  • Inventors:
    - Armonk NY, US
Michael Bender - Rye Brook NY, US
Jill Dhillon - Austin TX, US
  • International Classification:
    D06F 39/00
    G05B 19/042
  • Abstract:
A method of batch processing that includes registering item types to be processed by a batch management system including care instructions for the item types; recording batch items being added to a batch processing machine; and determining compatibility of at least one of each of said batch items being added to the batch processing machine to a total batch with an item to be processed to registered item match generator of said batch management system. Determining compatibility includes matching at least one of each item being added to the batch processing machine to the care instructions of the registered item types. The method may further include reporting compatibility of at least one of each item being added to the batch processing machine.
  • Avoidance Of Cognitive Impairment Events

    view source
  • US Patent:
    20180110412, Apr 26, 2018
  • Filed:
    Dec 20, 2017
  • Appl. No.:
    15/848092
  • Inventors:
    - Armonk NY, US
JILL S. DHILLON - HOUSTON TX, US
JAMES R. KOZLOSKI - NEW FAIRFIELD CT, US
  • International Classification:
    A61B 5/00
  • Abstract:
A method controls an alert indicator on a helmet. A physiological sensor and an accelerometer sensor in the helmet monitor a wearer of the helmet. A human observer subjectively detects that the wearer of the helmet is showing signs of an impaired cognitive state, and send a signal/marker that marks a point in the sensor readings that the impaired cognitive state manifested itself. A subsequent series of sensor readings from the physiological and accelerometer sensors are taken at a later time. If this subsequent series of sensor readings matches the earlier sensor readings up to the point that the human observer subjectively detected the helmet wearer's impaired cognitive state, then an alert indicator is activated on the helmet, warning the wearer of the helmet of an impending recurrence of the impaired cognitive state for the wearer of the helmet.
  • Verifying Exposure Of User To Advertising

    view source
  • US Patent:
    20160247180, Aug 25, 2016
  • Filed:
    Feb 24, 2015
  • Appl. No.:
    14/629799
  • Inventors:
    - Armonk NY, US
Gregory J. Boss - Saginaw MI, US
Jill S. Dhillon - Houston TX, US
  • International Classification:
    G06Q 30/02
  • Abstract:
Approaches for verifying a user's exposure to a commercial event are included. Various embodiments include a system having: at least one computing device configured to verify exposure of a user to a commercial event by performing actions including: prompting the user to provide an indication of exposure to the commercial event; obtaining the indication of exposure to the commercial event from the user; authenticating the indication of exposure obtained from the user; and crediting the user for exposure to the commercial event in response to the authenticating.
  • Identifying The Origins Of A Vehicular Impact And The Selective Exchange Of Data Pertaining To The Impact

    view source
  • US Patent:
    20160203656, Jul 14, 2016
  • Filed:
    Jan 9, 2015
  • Appl. No.:
    14/592940
  • Inventors:
    - Armonk NY, US
Gregory J. BOSS - Saginaw MI, US
Jill S. DHILLON - Houston TX, US
  • International Classification:
    G07C 5/08
    G07C 5/00
  • Abstract:
Approaches are provided for identifying the origin of a vehicular impact and selectively exchanging data pertaining to the impact. An approach includes determining whether an impact to a vehicle exceeds a predetermined threshold. The approach further includes when the impact exceeds the predetermined threshold, sending a signal that includes impact information and identifier information stored in a persistent storage device. The approach further includes receiving signals from one or more other vehicles within a predetermined proximity of the vehicle. The approach further includes comparing impact information from the signals to the impact information stored in the persistent storage device. The approach further includes when the impact information from the signals matches the impact information stored in the persistent storage device within a tolerance threshold, storing the impact information and identifier information from the signals in the persistent storage device.
  • Avoidance Of Cognitive Impairment Events

    view source
  • US Patent:
    20160007910, Jan 14, 2016
  • Filed:
    Jul 10, 2014
  • Appl. No.:
    14/328349
  • Inventors:
    - ARMONK NY, US
JILL S. DHILLON - HOUSTON TX, US
JAMES R. KOZLOSKI - NEW FAIRFIELD CT, US
  • International Classification:
    A61B 5/00
    A61B 5/11
  • Abstract:
A method guides evasive actions to avoid effects of a cognitive impairment state. A first buffer, which is communicatively coupled to at least one sensor on a wearable sensor device, is loaded with a first set of sensor readings. The wearable sensor device receives a first cognitive impairment state signal based on an observer of a wearer of the wearable sensor device observing an impairment to a cognitive state of the wearer of the wearable sensor device. Subsequently, a second buffer on the wearable sensor device initiates loading of a second set of sensor readings, and the first buffer and the second buffer are compared. In response to sensors readings from the first and second buffers matching, an alert is issued to the wearer of the wearable sensor device, thus prompting the wearer to take evasive steps to avoid a recurrence of the impairment.
