Abstract:

An aqueous aerosol hair spray styling aid composition and method including a terpolymer of vinylpyrrolidone/ethyl methacrylate/methacrylic acid (at least partially neutralized 30-1004) monomers in an amount of about 1% to about 124 by weight of the composition, particularly about 2% to about 10% by weight of the composition; water in an amount of about 20% to about 804 by weight of the composition; and a dimethyl ether liquefied propellant gas in an amount of about 25% to about 40% based on the total weight of the aerosol composition.
