Abstract:
A conveyor distribution system includes a first conveyor module for receiving work product to be distributed and having an elongated pan The outlet end of the first conveyor pan being in registry with and at an elevation above the proximal end of a conveyor pan of a second conveyor module to define a discharge gap between the two conveyor pans. The second conveyor operable to move the work product both downstream and upstream along the second conveyor pan thereby to discharge work product from either the distal or proximal ends of the second conveyor pan. A third or even additional conveyor modules may be employed for further distribution of the work product.

Abstract:
A display unit of welded wire or similar construction for display of food products packaged either in individual packages or displayed in jars open for removal of individual pieces. A pivoted cover is provided for a container in place on each of the shelves, with a horizontal cover flap pivot axis being vertically adjustable in position. The pivoted cover is permitted to swing only through a limited arc which results in the cover always being free to fall down atop an open jar or similar container and to interfere with placement of a jar on the shelf except beneath the cover flap.

Abstract:
A dynamically-changeable abdominal simulator system comprises a patient manikin having an abdominal cavity covered by a sheet of synthetic skin, an array of inflatable elements emplaced within the abdominal cavity covering respectively distinct areas of pressurization of the abdominal cavity and supplied with pressurized medium under separate and independent inflation control for each of the inflatable elements in order to simulate a wide range of abdominal ailments and/or conditional expressions thereof. An inflation manifold and an electronic control module operable therewith control the supply of pressurized medium to the inflatable elements. The electronic control module can communicate with an external computer that provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for the user to control the training simulation routines to be performed on the manikin.

Abstract:
A dynamically-changeable abdominal simulator system comprises a patient manikin having an abdominal cavity covered by a sheet of synthetic skin, a grid array of inflatable cells emplaced within the abdominal cavity covering respectively distinct areas of pressurization of the abdominal cavity and supplied with pressurized medium under separate and independent inflation control in order to simulate a wide range of abdominal ailments and/or conditional expressions thereof. In a preferred embodiment, the inflation cells of the grid array are each made of semi-rigid material for maintaining a fixed cell shape and contain an inflation balloon for pressurizing cell turgidity.
