The environment comprises a plurality of traders, each of the traders included in at least one of a plurality of members, wherein the plurality of members defines a community. The method comprises the steps of, defining the community, defining which members are included in the community, defining which traders are included in which members, and allowing at least one of the traders to authorize at least one of: a) interaction between a first trader and a second trader; and b) interaction between a first member and a second member.

A method for managing output of a resource is taught which includes the steps of a) permitting members of a business community to communicate with a further member of the business community who is a provider of resources; b) initiating, through a plurality of traders who transact business for members within the community, output by the provider; c) projecting the demand of the further members of the community; d) combining the demand projected of the further members of the community; and e) modifying the output of the provider based on combined projected demand.
