Abstract:

Embodiments of our technology provide a method, system, and media for presenting relevant information incident to attempting to present information that is unavailable by way of a website. One embodiment of the method includes receiving a request to present a desired web page, determining that the desired web page is unavailable for presentation, determining search criteria associated with the request, dynamically generating a second web page that includes search results that were obtained based on the search criteria, and presenting the second web page on a display device.

Abstract:

A system and a method are disclosed for quickly and securely transferring media files to an SD card from a kiosk. The kiosk includes a customer interface module for receiving a selection of a media file to transfer, a transaction module for accepting payment, a media file processing module for preparing the media file to be written to the SD card, and a high-speed secure SD card writer that can write to both an unsecure area and a secure area of the SD card. All data is written to the unsecure area before data is written to the secure area to improve speed. Optionally, the kiosk includes a firmware update module for distributing firmware updates through the SD cards, and the ability to play previews to attract customers and entertain them while transferring media files to the SD card.

Abstract:

A server is configured to receive a query from a first device, the query including an identifier, associated with a second device, information regarding a geographic radius, and information regarding a geographic position. The server is further configured to determine a first proximity based on the information regarding the geographic radius and based on the information regarding the geographic position; determine a second proximity, associated with the second device; determine a value based on the first proximity and the second proximity. The value may indicate a likelihood that the first proximity is within the second proximity. The server is further configured to provide proximity information to the first device, the proximity information including the value.
