Abstract:

The present invention relates to a gas insulated gate field effect transistor and a fabricating method thereof which provides an improved insulator between the gate and the source-drain channel of a field effect transistor. The insulator is a vacuum or a gas filled trench. As compared to a conventional MOSFET, the gas insulated gate device provides reduced capacitance between the gate and the source/drain region, improved device reliability and durability, and improved isolation from interference caused by nearby electric fields. The present invention includes the steps of forming a doped source region and drain region on a substrate, forming a gate, forming a gaseous gate insulating trench and forming terminals upon the gate, the source region and the drain region. A plurality of the devices on a single substrate may be combined to form an integrated circuit.

Abstract:

An automobile storage system is disclosed. The system includes a base, a pair of opposed side walls, and an end wall. The system further includes an adjustable divider tray with a first segment and a second segment. The first segment is pivotally connected to the end wall or one of the side walls along a first hinge axis, and the first segment is pivotally connected to the second segment along a second hinge axis. The hinge axes are parallel. The tray has a closed position in which the tray divides the interior into a first compartment and a second compartment, the first compartment is accessible, and the divider tray is disposed between the access opening and the second compartment. The tray is movable away from the closed position to an open position in which the interior of the system functions as a unitary compartment.

Abstract:

An expansible device attachable to the stern of a boat for mounting fishing rigs such as downriggers thereon. The device includes a framework which extends horizontally across the stern of the boat, with a pair of expansible members disposed near the outboard edges of the framework. The expansible members include extensions telescopically received in the framework which move from a retracted position to an extended, outboard position by means of linear actuators to provide an extended mounting area.
