Abstract:
A lightweight poured-in-place concrete builiding component and method of construction in which a plurality of spaced apart structural members with outer regions and a retaining layer system create a segmented form into which a lightweight concrete slurry is poured. The retaining layer system includes a lath which extends across the structural members on at least one outer region of the structual members. The lath is configured to simultaneously support a significant amount of the lightweight concrete slurry within a segmented form and allow a small amount to exude through the lath, thereby reinforcing a concrete component once cured. Alternative embodiments include the introduction of a barrier between a significant portion of a lath and concrete slurry to, at least reduce the amount on concrete which exudes-through the lath. Other altnerative embodiments include the introduction of insulative materials to the concrete slurry to enhance the insulative qualitites of a concrete component.
A concrete material with fastener retentive qualities that can be varied to approximate the fastening holding characteristics of a selected variety of wood species or composite wood products comprising a mixture of cement binder, aggregate, and pliable material in the following volumetric ratio of approximately one-half () to one (1) part cement binder to approximately two (2) parts aggregate to approximately two (2) to five (5) parts pliable additive material. Cement binder can be Portland Cement, fly ash, slag and a combination thereof. Aggregate can be sand, gravel, stone, crushed rock, and a combination thereof. Pliable material can be plastic, cellulose, crumb rubber, and a combination thereof in pelletized, grannular or powdered form.
A gypsum composition for making lightweight blocks, panels, boards, coatings or other user defined shapes that are specially beneficial to the building construction industry. The novel gypsum composition comprises one to five volume percent starch; one to five volume percent crystalline silica; one to ten volume percent cellulose; ten to eighty volume percent gypsum; and ten to eighty volume percent Styrofoam particles, hard plastic particles, rubber particles or a combination thereof, wherein the particles have an average particle size in a range of about 15 to about 150 mesh. The particles can be from a virgin source, a recycled source or a combination thereof.
A framed forming panel system a plurality of lightweight framed foam panels secured to a plurality of load bearing members having a user defined spacing to form a panel wall; ceiling for floor with a fastening region lattice. Each lightweight framed form panel composed a channel formed in a frame to receive a lightweight panel of foam. Fixation of framed panels to load bearing members in opposition to one another allows the panel walls, ceiling or floor to function as a form to retain an insulative mass placed within the voids created by the opposing framed panels.

The performance was also good enough to give Gatlin the Diamond League title even though he missed four of the seven points races.
Gay clocked 9.93 to beat Michael Rodgers in an all-American 1-2-3. It was a decent performance from Gay, but still far from the level that made him the second fastest sprinter behind Usain Bolt. Gay won the 100 at Athletissima in 9.79 a year ago.
