A plaster crown molding tile has an upright body portion providing a front decorative surface and, in opposition thereto, a rear wall-engaging surface. Integral with the body portion, a topper portion extends angularly upwardly. The wall-engaging surface provides spaced apart horizontally oriented planar strips and between the strips plural grooves spaced apart by ribs. Peaks of the ribs define a first selected depth relative to the horizontal strips, and valleys of the grooves define a second selected depth relative to the horizontal strips. These surface features enable the tile to be more easily shaved to a desired depth for custom fitting the tile for improved butt seams.
Combination Toolbox, Workbench, Dispensing Crib And Stool
A portable toolbox has a top, bottom, front and rear panels forming a box structure with opposing sides tilted off-vertical so as to converge upwardly. A plurality of hinged drawers and fixed bins are arranged on each side of the toolbox. The rear panel terminates at a pair of supporting feet for resting the apparatus on a supporting surface. The top panel provides an upwardly facing work surface with a pair of hand holes separated by a hand grip for carrying the apparatus. A forward and a rearward sliding retractable work surface extender frames are positionable between a retracted position, secured within the box structure and an extended position directed outwardly from the box structure for resting a workpiece.
The present invention is a combination metal cage supporting a cargo to be shipped within the metal cage. The metal cage provides a pallet platform and integral thereto, plural walls extending upwardly from the pallet platform. These walls define an open top of the metal cage. One of the plural walls is hingably mounted as a door. The cargo is comprised of a plurality of individual cartons, each of which has a length to width ratio of at least 10, i.e., the length of the carton is at least ten times the magnitude of the width of the carton. Preferably, the cartons are identical and are positioned in a vertical attitude within the metal cage in an adjacent, side-by-side manner. Preferably, one end of each of the cartons rests on the pallet platform while the opposing end of each of the cartons extends above the open top of the metal cage. The cage employs a loading rod for packing the cargo as it is loaded and a tilt mechanism to position the cage for gravity assist in loading.
A plaster crown molding tile system has an upright body portion providing a front decorative surface and a rear wall-engaging surface. Integral with the body portion, a topper portion extends angularly upwardly. A first tile provides a laterally extensive linear portion, the rear wall-engaging surface of the linear portion configured for surface-to-surface contact with a generally flat wall. The linear portion terminates at one end with an integral corner-turning portion which is small in lateral proportion to the linear portion. The rear wall-engaging surface of the corner-turning portion is oriented for contact with a second generally flat wall usually set at a right angle to the first wall. The corner-turning portion terminates laterally with a non-mitered first edge, laying in a plane generally perpendicular to the second generally flat wall wherein the first edge abuts a linear tile with a second edge conforming to the first edge for forming a uniformly tight butt seam.
A plaster crown molding tile and a base support foundation beam provide mating nesting surfaces such that with the beam mounted to a wall surface, the tile may be placed securely onto the beam. A space is provided for a lighting fixture between the beam and the tile. Preferably, the nesting surfaces comprise orthogonal surfaces.
Molding System For Improved Appearance With Simplified Installation
A molding tile apparatus is mounted onto abutting wall surfaces forming either an inside corner or an outside corner. A corner turning portion has a horizontal, lateral extent for covering the wall abutment vicinity in the corner, and a horizontally oriented, linearly extensive, leg portion integral or separate from the corner turning portion. An interface between the leg portion and the corner turning portion is defined by a thickness differential. The corner portion may receive a decorative insert.
A crown molding unit for engagement with a ceiling surface and an adjacent wall surface of a room has a first surface positioned for flush contact with a ceiling surface and simultaneously, a second surface positioned for flush contact with a wall surface. Each of the first and the second surfaces provide a plurality of side-by-side parallel longitudinal grooves and a plurality of side-by-side parallel lateral grooves, the lateral grooves lie orthogonal to the longitudinal grooves and converge to a depression in the apparatus.
Baseboard Molding With Adaptive And Accommodating Surfaces
A molding strip has a front surface and a spaced apart rear surface, the front and rear surfaces extending between parallel top and bottom edges. The front surface is decorative with a horizontal groove for accepting a decorative filler strip. The bottom surface is indented from the front surface to form a space between the molding strip and the floor below it. The rear surface comprises a plurality of parallel grooves separated by horizontal contact edges. A cutaway surface extends from the bottom edge to a medial position on the rear surface for concealing a lesser sized molding strip.
