Having lived in San Diego since 1973, I appreciate the beauty and benefits of living in Rancho Santa Fe where my three young children enjoy their days at the Roger Rowe School. With a valuable and varied background in realty, business, law and the military, Robert Kenyon offers his clients top-notch expertise in negotiation, coupled with a persistent focus on detail and an appreciation that a sense of humor, at times, can move mountains. For some, the purchase or sale of a home can be an emotional strain and it requires a steady hand to insure that they feel reliant upon their realtor to steady the course. On occasion, one side or the other, and at times both parties bring their egos to the table, which can disrupt an otherwise easy transfer of property. For these particular reasons as well as innumerable others, it is incumbent upon those who are preparing to purchase or sell real property to choose wisely when seeking realtor assistance. As an attorney and president of his corporation, Robert has conducted transactions with the top players in varieties of scenarios and is accustomed to dealing with a wide range of colorful personalities, reading the fine print and utilizing his business acumen to maintain the edge in contractual negotiations. It might be said that Robert Kenyon began his career in realty in 1962 at Parris Island, South Carolina, where as a young Marine, he learned in rather dramatic fashion the cost of acquiring certain real estate and just how high the price could be to hold it. That same learning experience carried over into Vietnam and after several years of service, Robert chose to leave the Marine Corps and return to college. A number of years thereafter, he acquired his juris doctorate degree in law at the University of Arizona, which taught him the more refined, yet no less tenacious aspects of contractual law and how that affected the transfer of properties. For many years, Robert served as a felony division trial lawyer with the San Diego District Attorney's Office. Over these many years, Robert has invested in a variety of real property, having both purchased and sold real estate in numerous states across the nation. In addition to acquiring and selling properties, for the past 20-years Robert has successfully run a touring company that sends seasoned travelers on customized, luxury tours to global destinations. During the course of that time, he has visited more than 170 of the 195 countries worldwide, some more than 30 times. With this wide-ranging background, Robert began his search for the ideal community in which to transition from investing in real estate to lending his expertise to others who desire to purchase or sell their dream homes. As a resident of San Diego since 1973, Robert has grown to love Southern California and its near-perfect weather, choosing to reside with his family in Rancho Santa Fe, which is considered by many to be one of the finest communites in the nation in which to raise one's family, maintain a second home or retire. And with the choice to live in Rancho Santa Fe came the decision of which realty firm to associate with as a Broker Associate. Clearly, the answer was Willis Allen Real Estate. Established in 1914 and consistently maintaining and enhancing their stellar record of proven sales results, client satisfaction and unparalleled integrity, Willis Allen is a highly respected realty firm, with strong national and international recognition. Robert's wealth of experience and the well-established strength of the Willis Allen Real Estate team offer clientele the assurance that all of their interests, down to the smallest detail, will be heard and acted upon with a high degree of professionalism that is based upon competence, dedication, perseverance, integrity and discretion. Although enthusiastically on call 24/7 for each client, during his free time, Robert treasures his early morning runs and enjoying being a child with each and every one of his three young children.
