Abstract:
The invention includes a method of debugging an embedded processor. Scratch pad memory of an embedded processor is accessed to form a configuration file characterizing the configurations of scratch pad regions of the scratch pad memory. The embedded processor is debugged using information from the configuration file. The invention also includes an embedded processor with a processor core and scratch pad memory connected to the processor core. The scratch pad memory includes a set of scratch pad regions. The scratch pad memory stores values characterizing base addresses and region size values of the set of scratch pad regions.

Abstract:
A system and method for providing efficient block transfer operations through a test access port uses a Fastdata register. The Fastdata register, in part, emulates a pending process access bit (“PrAcc”) typically found in a Control register associated with the test access port. When a Fastdata access (either a Fastdata upload or a Fastdata download) is requested by a probe coupled to the test access port, the Fastdata register is serially coupled to a data register also associated with the test access port. With these registers so coupled and through the operation of the Fastdata register, downloading and uploading data can be accomplished using a single register operation.

Abstract:
A system accessible by a test access port controller via a test access port interface includes a data register. The data register is selectable based on an instruction register signal in the test access port interface. The instruction register signal is derived form an instruction register in the test access port controller. A shift register is connected to a data input and a data output in the test access port interface and to the data register. The operation of the shift register is controlled based on an indication of a state of a test access port controller state machine that is received over the test access port interface.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for regulating the concentration of a vapor within a hard drive are provided. In one embodiment, the method may include providing a source chemical of a vapor in a first cavity formed within a first object, providing an absorptive chemical which absorbs the vapor in a second cavity formed within the first object, and providing a third cavity formed by a hard drive housing of the hard drive. A first conductance path having a first conductance connects the first cavity to the third cavity, a second conductance path having a second conductance connects the second cavity to the third cavity, and the first conductance and the second conductance maintain a partial pressure level of the vapor within the third cavity.

Abstract:
Cleaning a recording head slider in-drive during operation is accomplished by periodically performing a series of full stroke seek operations, whereby liquid contaminants that may have migrated to the head slider are flung from the slider and liquid from the disk surface may be adsorbed onto the slider for removal by way of flinging. Consequently, head-disk spacing may be stabilized and data write operations improved. Furthermore, the series of full stroke seek operations may be performed at predetermined intervals, and for a predetermined period of time. However, the series may be interrupted by a client request, and continued thereafter, so as not to affect the operational status of the recording system.

Scott McCoy certainly isn't ready to forgive. Years after Blagojevich left office, the former mayor of the north-central Illinois town of Pontiac acknowledges that one of the reasons he drove 100 miles to watch the last trial in Chicago and why he might do so again for the retrial is that he can
