About:
My name is Stephanie Simmons. I am a Realtor with 1st Choice Realty, located in the beautiful east Texas town of Nacogdoches. I started selling real estate in 2000, immediately after graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a Minor in Business. I grew up in east Texas as a 9th generation Texan. I love Nacogdoches and being close to family, so I decided to stay in the area to work and raise a family of my own. After college, I was blessed to get marry my high school sweetheart, Steven Gutermuth. He serves as a captain of the Nacogdoches Fire Department. We reside in Timpson, where we have a large poultry farm and a cattle operation. In 2004, we welcomed our first child, Colton into the world. We have since added another son, Taylor and a daughter, Megan to our family. Our kiddos are active in our church, 4H shooting sports, livestock projects, hunting, baseball and gymnastics. Our wild little tribe keeps us busy & we have something different to look forward to every season, except for a lot of sleep! I consider selling real estate a privilege. It takes trust for someone to call a Realtor, regardless of whether buying or selling, & ask them to help with a real estate transaction. There are a lot of Realtors to choose from, and I'm always honored when I get the call. 85% of my business comes from repeat clients & referrals from previous clients to their family and friends. I'm happy to be a part of this profession & I love most of the people in it. I was blessed to have recently been voted one of Nacogdoches' Best Realtors by the community. There is a great reward of personal satisfaction that comes with this business. The best I can offer a client is diligence, knowledge of the constant market changes, and honesty. Without that commitment, buyers and sellers aren't getting what they deserve.
