About:
I am originally from the great state of Tennessee! I grew up in Cookeville, and moved to Athens, Tennessee when I was in 7th grade. I did my undergraduate work at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville where I majored in History. I had political aspirations for some reason, so I decided to go to law school. I chose Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and I received my J.D. in 1989.
After that, my husband and I move to Cleveland, Tennessee, and I worked as an attorney in private practice until my first child, Philip, was born. I was very blessed to be a stay-at-home Mom after that for many years. While my primary job was being a Mom, I took a part time job as an adjunct professor at Cleveland State Community College in the Legal Assistant Program. I taught a variety of classes including Real Property, Torts, Legal Writing, and Contracts.
When my husband accepted a job in Greenville, South Carolina, we moved to the Greer area of Greenville. My daughter started kindergarten, and I decided to go back to work. I thought about taking the bar and practicing law, but real estate was my passion. I decided to take the Real Estate exam, and I started working as a full-time real estate agent in June 2007.
Real Estate is still my passion! I love the different personalities of the clients that I work with, the challenge of getting a home ready for the market, finding creative ways to market my listings, and getting to see so many different homes.
Greenville and the Upstate of South Carolina is a beautiful place, and we love so many things about it-great restaurants, beautiful scenery, the mountains, proximity to the beach, awesome downtown, and activities going on all the time!
We are also blessed with a very moderate climate, very affordable housing, and great schools. If you are moving to the area, or if you already live in the Greenville area, I would love to show off our beautiful area!
