Abstract:

A proposed implementation of this present subject matter utilizes a data collection and processing unit and sensors to monitor one or more conditions which can cause damage to a pump. These conditions include differential pressure across the pump, pump flow rate, and the pump rotational speed (RPM). Pump operating curves are analyzed to develop equations indicative of minimum and maximum allowable head for efficient operation within mechanical operation limits of the pump. The equations are used to set a processor for analyzing data inputs. The processor utilizes sensor inputs from the pump, including input and output pressure differential, flow, and pump speed. These values are compared to stored data or may be inserted into an equation to provide a calculated parameter indicative of operation in or out of pump operating limits. Responsive circuits inform users of alarm conditions.

Abstract:

An insulated and logistics track construction for the side and end walls of a refrigerated vehicle includes an exterior metal sheet attached to a plurality of vertical posts that are horizontally spaced. An interior sheet of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) is spaced from the exterior sheet and attached to the vertical posts by a logistics track attached to each post with the FRP interior sheet captured between the logistics track and post. The logistics track is shorter than the posts, thereby leaving portions of the FRP interior sheet above and below the logistics tracks unattached and unrestrained by the posts. A mandrel with vertical tubes is positioned adjacent the FRP interior sheet while foam is introduced between the exterior sheet and the interior sheet and the pressure of the foam forces the FRP interior sheet to create a flat inner surface between the vertically extending logistics tracks with the logistics tracks recessed below the flat inner surface and to create a corrugated shape in the surface of the FRP interior sheet above and below the logistics tracks.

Abstract:

An apparatus, method, and a non-transitory programmed medium provide real time, in-situ, persistent monitoring of a pump for the presence of anomalies and controlling pump operation to avoid a failure. Real time operating data is compared to profiles to indicate out of limit operation and to generate dynamic control signals. A vibration sensor which measures amplitude of vibration generated by the pump and at least one thermocouple provide data to a first processor collocated with the pump to enable low latency reaction. Spectral analysis is performed by the first processor. Additional operating parameter values are obtained and provided to a second processor, a remote processor or a cloud server. At least one of the processors provides signals to modulate controls to vary engine speed or shut down the engine. A cellular modem and a satellite modem interface the system and external nodes. Data collected are correlated with operating data to generate profiles indicative of conditions.
