Abstract:

A vehicle closure has a power operated vehicle compartment latch that includes a fork bolt, a detent lever having a release tab and a stop tab, and an eccentric post on an electric motor driven wheel. The detent lever is driven to a release position by the motor via the post and the release tab to unlatch the vehicle closure. The post engages the stop tab to stall the electric motor after the detent is driven to the release position which allows the fork bolt to move to an open or unlatch position. The stop tab is disabled when the fork bolt is moved to the latch position.

Abstract:

A method of constructing a palletizer cell by providing square platform bases which are assembled into an array in abutment with each other, each platform base mounting a respective component of palletizing equipment, such as a robot, one or more conveyors, a slip sheet bin, a discharge module, etc. with one platform base anchored to the factory floor and the rest attached to one or another of the platform bases to form the array of platform bases thereby properly locating the various equipment with each other by the fitting together of the platform bases. Safety fencing sections are mounted atop one or more outer sides to substantially enclose the space within the palletizer cell. Each platform base is formed with side openings which may be engaged with the tines of a fork lift.

Abstract:

A method and apparatus for charging a battery with a finger actuated low mass spinner electromagnetically converts the mechanical spinning energy to the desired battery charging voltage. The charger may be a self-contained portable battery charger unit for use with any of multiple devices containing respective batteries, or it may be a permanent part of such a device. The spinner may be a modified fidget spinner to which a shaft or axle is fixedly attached to rotate about that axis with the spinner and has one or more permanent magnets secured for rotation therewith. Alternatively the spinner may be more like the fidget spinner, without an axle rotating therewith, and having magnets on its rotating arms. In either case, the magnetic fields of the rotating magnets induce voltage in one or more induction coils to generate a battery charging voltage.

Controlling a level of electrosurgical energy provided to tissue based on detected arcing patterns or impedance changes. The drag force imposed on an electrode or blade of an electrosurgical instrument may be controlled by adjusting the level of electrosurgical energy based on the arcing patterns or impedance changes. The arcing patterns or impedance changes may be detected by sensing and analyzing voltage and/or current waveforms of the electrosurgical energy. The current and/or voltage waveform analysis may involve calculating impedance based on the voltage and current waveforms and calculating changes in impedance over time. The waveform analysis may involve detecting harmonic distortion using FFTs, DFTs, Goertzel filters, polyphase demodulation techniques, and/or bandpass filters. The waveform analysis may involve determining a normalized difference or the average phase difference between the voltage and current waveforms.

The systems and methods of the present disclosure detect arcing patterns or impedance changes and adjust the level of electrosurgical energy provided to tissue based on the detected arcing patterns or impedance changes.
