Abstract:

An animal trap includes a housing having a bottom wall, side walls, a top wall and a front opening in the side walls, opposing slots in the side walls adjacent the opening, and opposing channels in the side walls immediately behind the slots; a door slidably mounted in the slots for movement between raised and lowered positions to unblock and block the opening; a platform pivotally positioned on the bottom wall; levers pivotally mounted to the side walls adjacent the opening, each having a front end catch for engaging a lower end of the door to hold the door in the raised position, and a rear end; and lifters slidably guided by the channels for vertical movement between the rear end of the lever and one end of the platform, to cause pivoting of the levers and closing of the door upon pivoting of the platform.

Abstract:

The present invention features an iron being adapted to guide a user through an ironing task. In some embodiments, the iron comprises a plurality of fabric selector switches, a message controller, a speaker, a temperature sensor, and a microprocessor. In some embodiments, said fabric selector switches are operatively connected as inputs to said microprocessor, said temperature sensor is operatively connected to a sole plate of the iron to measure the temperature of the sole plate, and the temperature sensor is also operatively connected as inputs to said microprocessor.

Abstract:

An elastic head band which fits around a wearer's head from front to back wherein each end of such elastic band has part of attaching devices such that the head band will be held in place. The elastic band has essentially two purposes: one is decorative and the other is functional in that it helps to keep a wearer's wig in place. The wig in fact can be reversed from front to back and it further has a net attached to the inside. Further, a comb is fixedly attached to the front and back of the wig such that the wearer will insert the teeth of the comb into his or her natural hair. The band is meant to be replaceable and is attachable to the comb on the front of the wig by means of inserting the teeth of the comb into a plurality of loops disposed on the surface of the head band. Other means of attaching the head band to the inside of the wig may be employed. This may be in the form of button holes-buttons, male-female velcro, or any other well known fastening devices.

Abstract:

A process for electrodepositing at least one ferromagnetic material into a three dimensional pattern within a substrate is provided. The process comprises providing a substrate material, dielectric or conductor, having a three dimensional recessed pattern in at least one outer surface thereof, dielectric substrate materials also having an electrical conductive seed layer at least within the three dimensional pattern. An electrolytic bath is prepared comprising at least one ferromagnetic material and at least one accelerating, inhibiting, or depolarizing additive. The at least one ferromagnetic material comprises at least one metal cation selected from the group consisting of Ni, Co, Fe, Fe, and combinations thereof. The substrate is placed into the electrolytic bath and the electrolytic bath contacts the conducting three dimensional pattern in the substrate or the conducting seed layer within the pattern on a dielectric substrate. A counter electrode is placed into the electrolytic bath. An electric current is passed through the electrolytic bath between the electrical conductive substrate or seed layer on the three dimensional substrate and the counter electrode. At least a portion of the ferromagnetic material is deposited into at least a portion of the three dimensional pattern wherein the at least one deposited ferromagnetic material is substantially void-free.
