A fishing tackle apparatus comprises a base housing having at least one compartment, a lid hinged with the base housing for movement between a closed position covering the base housing and an open position exposing the compartment. The compartment is defined by upstanding side walls, two opposite facing front and rear walls have vertical slits form from a top of the walls to receive therein the crank fitted with the spool. A crank fitted with a spool for winding fishing lines onto the spool is installed in the compartment for winding used fishing line from or to the fishing reel. The crank comprises a shaft connected to a handle. The shaft has an adapter with grooved outer surface to securely engage the spool without slipping. The spool has a center aperture with inner grooves to engage the adapter of the shaft without slipping. The compartment has opposite facing side walls having a plurality of parallelly disposed vertical grooves for receiving therein a partition to adjust the length of the compartment to receive a spool of varying size.
A prosthetic spinal disc uses a stiff spring or springs for resiliency between two plates that attach to adjacent vertebrae. When the disc has multiple springs, they may be adjacent, concentric or nested. Multiple springs may be spaced around the periphery of the plates. A foil metal bellows may surround the plates to prevent material from entering or exiting the space between the plates. Alternatively, the ends of the spring(s) may be machined with spikes to engage the vertebrae directly without plates.
Prosthetic Monolithic Spinal Discs And Method Of Customizing And Constructing Discs
The process uses micro-machining for forming a prosthetic spinal disc in which one of more springs bias adjacent vertebrae apart and absorb shock. Instead of using conventionally wound springs, the entire prosthesis including the springs are formed by micro-machining a block of material. Imaging, load and other patient data provide the parameters for the prosthesis.

Abstract:
This invention relates to electricity generation from the ocean wave by use of mechanical systems, submerged or on surface, collecting energy day and night regardless weather condition in a way similar to the way of collecting energy by use of solar panels or wind mills, without contacting the salty ocean water. The principal mechanism invented is as follows. Swinging of a heavy mass due to the ocean wave generates torque that sways gear wheel in clockwise or counterclockwise, thus transmitting the torque energy to two gear wheels that separate clockwise swing and counterclockwise swing via two sets of spring-piston clutching system and by use of gear chain, either converting clockwise swing to counterclockwise swing or vise versa such that the back and forth motion of the mass transforms into unidirectional rotation that rotates the rotor of electricity generator.

Abstract:
This invention relates to electricity generation from the river flow by use of mechanical systems, collecting energy day and night regardless of weather condition in a collective manner while isolating a part of the system within a water-proof container. The mechanical system invented generates a force imbalance and thus generates torque to rotate a shaft at a high revolution rate. Two approaches are introduced to create the force imbalance. The first one mechanizes vane operation on a wheel such that pressure builds on one side of the wheel while no pressure builds on the other side. The second one is a “Water-Box” that has an open front side and a door such that pressure builds on the door at one side of the wheel while no pressure builds on the other. Thus, the force imbalance is created and torque is generated to rotate a shaft at a high rate of revolution.
The reciprocating saw has two, superimposed, blades having a common axis and arcuate cutting surfaces adjacent each other. Part of one blade extends through an opening in the other blade so that the cutting edge of an upper blade is under the cutting edge of a lower blade. The blades' cutting edges extend around the blade or along a smaller arc. A linkage in the saw converts rotary motion of a motor into synchronous, counter-reciprocating motion of the blades about the axis. Counter-reciprocation minimizes action/reaction forces, which occur when a single reciprocating saw blade changes directions.

Automobile Theft Protection Device To Be Locked On Steering Wheel That Protects Automobile Even After The Steering Wheel Rim Cut Loose
The present invention relates to a mechanical device that protects auto-theft. It is to be installed on steering wheel and has the following merits over existing devices. These are: 1) automobile can not be stolen even after they cut steering wheel-rim on both sides of the device, 2) it is adjustable to fit any type of steering wheel, and 3) it takes a simple pushing to lock up the device to the automobile steering wheel, and unlocking the key-operated lock to the device releases it from the automobile steering wheel automatically.
