Abstract:

An envelope feeder for a printing press providing a unique feeder arrangement that allows multiple parallel feeding of stacks of differently sized and shaped envelopes to be fed into the press simultaneously. An envelope vacuum pick-up arrangement is coordinated with a feed roller that grabs the envelopes from the bottom end of open-ended, independently adjustable feeder trays, that can be fed with unprinted envelopes continuously without interrupting the printing process. Electronic logic sensing and control apparatus monitors the envelope feeding process such that, in case of misfeeds, the next following printing cycle is inhibited to avoid smearing of wet ink. Timing apparatus with manual control insures precise registration of the printed image even at high speed operation. Manual switches coordinated with the electronic control allows feeding from a single or from all feeder trays.

Abstract:

The present vertical lift vehicle system can include a single internal combustion engine, a single propeller, and a plurality of small ducts. The small ducts can connect to a single main duct acting as a combustion chamber, wherein the combustion chamber combines air from the small ducts with propane, wherein when ignited the contents of the main duct produce added thrust to the vehicle as it exits the main duct.

Abstract:

The disclosure is premised on the realization that despite the apparent convenience, safety and effectiveness possible by use of a less-lethal weapon incorporated into the foregrip of a two-handed weapon, no major police department, government agency, or military unit deploys such a system. This deficiency can be remedied by the disclosed device, which comprises a less-lethal weapon system that employs industry-standard components, and is effective and easy to use. The disclosed invention mounts a standard-size incapacitant canister in the handgrip portion of a foregrip. The foregrip is secured to the firearm by a standard rail system, and uses standard trigger and safety configurations. The canister magazine allows for efficient loading and reloading of the incapacitant, and the canister mounting angle allows for effective use. Further, some embodiments of the invention may include an accessory mounting area in which a tactical flashlight or laser may be mounted.
