Professional achievement in the superior performance of his duties while serving as RECRUITER-IN-CHARGE at Navy Recruiting Stations Freehold and Red Bank, NJ at Navy Recruiting District New York from October 2004 to December 2006. Petty Officer Myers led NRS Red Bank to constantly hard to meet mission objectives. He was personally responsible for turning a perennial struggling station into one of the powerhouses in Zone Eight. Serving as an outstanding role model, his hands-on involvement in the training of the Delayed Entry Program personnel ensured the station's RTC attrition percentage to be well below the national average of 11%. Petty officer Myers' exceptional professional ability, initiative and loyal dedication to duty reflected credit upon himself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Navy.
