A magnetic latch may include a first magnet assembly and a second magnet assembly. Abstract:

A locknut comprising a metal nut including a threaded internal wall for engaging a threaded shaft; and a metal ring including an internal threaded wall defining a hole for engaging the threaded shaft. The ring comprised of a steel alloy. The threaded internal wall of the nut and the threaded internal wall of the ring being in general axial alignment when the ring is received by a bore of the nut. The ring has an elliptical configuration and is configured to distort to a circular configuration when the threaded shaft is engaged with the threaded internal wall of the nut and the threaded internal wall of the ring. Abstract:

A manually operated, two lever arm type garlic press is provided which a detachably associated cleaning plate that is stored at the front end of the one of the lever arms (preferably, the first lever arm). The cleaning plate is provided with projections on its inner surface which are adopted to engage with apertures in the floor plate of the press chamber so as to clean debris from the apertures after usage of the garlic press. During storage, the projections extend forwardly from the associated lever arm. The cleaning plate is provided with opposing side clips and with top and bottom stabilizing legs that coact together and cooperate with side portions of the associated lever arm adjacent to the front end to hold the cleaning plate relative to that lever arm. Preferably, the top stabilizing leg also functions as a lock to retain the lever arms in a closed configuration during garlic press storage.

Abstract:

An adjustable, fastenerless modular shutter includes end rails having an end wall and a pair of locking portions extending therefrom. The locking portions are slidably receivable in a pair of side rails and engage the side rails to resist separation of the end rails from the side rails during assembly of the shutter. An adjusting member located on the end rail permits adjustable engagement of a shutter panel to the end rail to permit positioning and retention of the shutter panel relative to one of the end rails.
