Abstract:

A food, or ready-to-drink beverage, delivery system for increasing the production and release of human growth hormone (HGH) for anti-aging effects and/or to improve a condition of HGH deficiency. A food bar, powder, other food forms, or ready-to-drink beverage that contains the full range and optimal dosages of vitamins, minerals, non-prescription hormonal and herbal supplements most desired by individuals who regularly take such supplements from numerous bottles or other packages. HGH stimulation and the above-described supplementation may be delivered for oral ingestion separately or together in the same aliquot, said aliquot providing a pleasant-tasting and convenient snack or mini-meal in addition to the specific HGH stimulation and supplementation. L-glutamine, glycine and melatonin are sufficient to boost HGH up to age 60, and it is preferred to add L-arginine and L-lysine for individuals of age 60 and older. The single food or beverage aliquot makes unnecessary the inconvenient ingestion of numerous pills from numerous bottles, or ill-tasting powders that must be mixed with water.

Abstract:

In the digestive tract certain nerve endings regulate the release of certain hormones in response to the movement of a quantity of food through the digestive tract. This release of hormones controls the operation of the pancreas in supplying to the intestinal tract certain digestive enzymes which are used in breaking down fats, proteins, and certain complex carbohydrates in the food as the quantity of food passes through the small intestine. It is possible to anesthesize these nerve endings prior to the consumption of such a quantity of food so as to inhibit the release of these hormones. As a consequence of this, a quantity of food moving through the digestive tract past these anesthesized nerve endings will not be subject to the action of these enzymes and will move through the small intestine without such types of materials contributing food energy or calories to the body. This can be utilized to accomplish a reduction in weight or to control weight.

Abstract:

Closely spaced windings of wire are laid down on a revolving drum and retained in place by an adhesive substrate previously mounted on the drum. The cylinder of wire with an adhesive substrate which is formed is cut and removed from the drum and spread into a flat sheet. The wire side of the sheet is placed in contact with the epoxied surface of an elongated plate. The plate traverses the wire sheet in a strip proximate one terminal edge thereof dividing the sheet into a major portion which will ultimately form the lead wires to the head and a minor portion which is trimmed off in later step. After the epoxy has dried, the adhesive substrate is removed and the newly exposed side of the wire is placed in contact with the epoxied surface of a second elongated plate. The two plates form an elongated sandwich containing the wire embedded in epoxy. The ends of the wire forming the minor portion are trimmed and the end surface of the sandwich is polished to form the finished recording head.
