Abstract:

A goal to ground indicator device indicates a ready and/or upset condition of a ground supported goal such as a soccer goal that has at least one bar that lies in contact with the ground. An indicator arm is movable relative to the contact arm between a ready position and an upset position. A contact arm cooperates with the indicator arm. A biasing element biases the indicator arm to the upset position. When the bar of the goal is no longer in contact with the ground the indicator arm moves from the ready position to the upset position.

Abstract:

A selectively releasable ground securing device that includes a ground member, a clamp body, and a lock assembly that selectively cooperates with the ground member to secure the clamp body relative thereto. The ground member includes a drivable body that is constructed to be driven into a ground surface such that the ground member is generally flush with the upper layer of the ground surface. The lock assembly selectively cooperates with the ground member to secure the clamp body and structure engaged therewith relative to the ground member. In a preferred embodiment, the clamp body cooperates with a rail of a goal assembly to prevent tipping or movement of the goal assembly when the lock assembly is engaged with the ground member.

Abstract:

An apparatus for marking and scoring sheet material having a side edge includes a base having an upper surface and a contact edge adapted to engage a side edge of the sheet material. A trans-base is secured perpendicularly to the base and is adapted to rest on the upper surface of the sheet material. The base and the trans-base are susceptible to rocking movement about a fulcrum defined by the trans-base as the contact edge of the base is drawn along the side edge of the sheet material. Stabilizing wing structure on the base is constructed and arranged to prevent any such rocking movement of the base and the trans-base as the contact edge is drawn along the side edge of the sheet material. The stabilizing wing structure includes an upturned side edge maintained out of engagement with the sheet material upper surface, to prevent the wing structure from engaging irregularities in the sheet material upper surface as the base contact edge is drawn along the sheet material side edge.
