Abstract:

A computer-implemented method and a computer program product for device pairing by cognitive computing. A cognitive computing system creates a knowledge corpus about the historical activities of pairing devices of a user. The cognitive computing system predicts needs of device pairing of the user, based on analysis of the historical activities. The cognitive computing system identifies devices that can be paired in a surrounding area. An augmented reality device tracks an eye direction of the user at a device, extrapolates the eye direction to create an eye focus direction of the user, obtains from the cognitive computing system an eye focus line with an arrow pointing to the device, and creates an augmented reality overlay which shows the eye focus line. The augmented reality device pairs a user currently used device and the device, upon user approval.

Abstract:

A computer-implemented method, a computer program product, and a computer system for dynamically creating a composition reference video to support a user activity. In response to that a user selects a reference video for performing an activity, the computer system identifies a search query of a reference video. The computer system identifies personalized parameters of the user, based on a knowledge corpus user preferences of performing activities, and the search query. The computer system identifies appropriate videos and video transcripts in an online video repository and identifies textual contents through document and text search, based on a prediction about how the user is to perform the activity. The computer system draws series of images based on the textual contents. The computer system normalizes contents from the appropriate videos and the series of images and normalizes voices in the contents from the appropriate videos.

Abstract:

In an approach for building a machine learning model that predicts the appropriate action to resolve a malfunction or system error, a processor receives an alert that a malfunction or a system error has occurred. A processor creates a workspace on a ChatOps platform integrated with a chatbot and one or more tools. A processor inputs data relating to the alert in a natural language format. A processor processes the data using a natural language processing algorithm. Responsive to determining a pre-set threshold for outputting the appropriate action is not met, a processor establishes a conversation between two or more support service agents in the workspace. A processor monitors the conversation using the natural language processing algorithm. A processor analyzes a transcript of the conversation using text analytics or pattern matching. A processor creates and trains a machine learning model to predict the appropriate action in future iterations.

Abstract:

One or more computer processors establish a geofence surrounding a display having a plurality of pixels capable of change based on one or more display capabilities. The one or more computer processors monitor for a change in at least one pixel of the plurality of pixels. The one or more computer processors identify a photosensitive user within the established geofence. The one or more computer processors responsive to the at least one pixel change associated with the display, calculate a photosensitivity score utilizing a model trained for one or more photosensitive conditions associated with the photosensitive user. The one or more computer processors adjust the display to show a change on the at least one pixel based on the calculated photosensitivity score.

In an approach for a shopper-based commerce driven presentation of required-but-missing product related information, a processor detects a user viewing a physical product via a mixed reality device. A processor identifies a preferred environment for the physical product from a personal shopper profile of the user. A processor generates via the mixed reality device a depiction of the preferred environment. A processor determines whether the physical product can be overlaid in the preferred environment. A processor enables the user to purchase a product based on the determination.
