Abstract:

Method, apparatus, and computer readable medium for managing an electronic greeting in a telecommunication system are described. In some examples, a call is received via the telecommunication system. Descriptions of pre-recorded electronic content are played in the call. A selection of one or more items of the pre-recorded electronic content is received. An electronic greeting is formed from the one or more items of the pre-recorded electronic content. A selection of one or more intended recipients is received. The electronic greeting is scheduled to be sent towards the one or more intended recipients via the telecommunication system.

In some examples, a call from a subscriber is received via the telecommunication system. Descriptions of pre-recorded electronic content are played in the call. A selection of one or more items of the pre-recorded electronic content is received. An electronic greeting template is formed from the one or more items of the pre-recorded electronic content. The electronic greeting template is sent towards the subscriber via the telecommunication system, where the subscriber may then further manage the electronic greeting template as desired.
