I was born and raised in a small town on the Oregon Coast where the wind blows the rain sideways and our milk was delivered by the "Milk Man". Stopped over in Sonoma County of California for 8 years and then decided to follow my family to the Southwest Desert of Tucson where there is no rain to blow sideways, just snakes!!! 10 years later and I'm firmly planted in the Hill Country of Texas with my little family and one thing is for sure, you just can't get the country out of this ol' cowgirl!!! I love all things having to do with farms, ranches, manure, and the sounds and smells that come with it. Family values, small towns, and God. Where "SO I TELL YOU WHAT" and "I'M FIXING TO" are part of your vocabulary and paying your respects to a friend you see at the post office or just plain ol saying howdy are the norm... Well Mayberry has nothing on my small town.. Art for me comes from all of the above, being allowed to be me... an ol country cowgirl..
