Abstract:
A recirculation spin coater system includes a spin coating bowl with a having a recirculation drain and a wetting fluid chamber associated with the upper end of the inner side walls wherein the wetting fluid chamber is configured to dispense a side wall wetting fluid to inner side walls of the spin coating bowl. A vision system configured to capture images of the work piece within the spin coating bowl for quality control and work piece positioning. An annular array of light sources are surrounding sides of the spin coating bowl and are configured to illuminate the interior of the spin coating bowl for optical controls. The vision system may be utilized for both quality control and work piece positioning. The coating nozzle is configured to move between a first coating position vertically aligned with the work piece, and a second purge position vertically aligned with the recirculation drain.

Abstract:
A curing apparatus () includes a housing () having a sidewall () with an inlet () spaced apart from an outlet () along an axis, the housing defining an interior chamber (). At least one opening () extends through the sidewall of the housing, for example from the inlet to the outlet. At least one ultraviolet radiation source () is operative for transmitting ultraviolet radiation into the interior chamber. At least one nozzle () is in flow communication with the interior chamber. The at least one opening is an open slot configured to receive a portion of an article carrier moving along a guideway outside of the housing such that an article supported by the article carrier moves through the interior chamber from the inlet to the outlet on the portion of the article carrier extending through the slot.
An article transport vehicle () has: a carrier base () configured for movement along a guideway and a pair of gripping arms (), each gripping arm () having a first end () connected to the carrier base () and a second end () protruding from the carrier base (). The pair of gripping arms () is movable between a closed position configured for holding an article () and an open position configured for releasing the article (). The article transport vehicle () further has a closure mechanism () for moving the pair of gripping arms () between the closed position and the open position. The closure mechanism () is configured for biasing the pair of gripping arms () to the closed position and moving the pair of gripping arms () to the open position when the carrier base () is positioned at a predetermined portion of the guideway.
