Abstract:

A cargo blanket suspension system for a container comprises: a generally flat, horizontal framework of connected bars positioned within a cargo compartment of the cargo container. A cable system is connected to the framework to suspend the framework from or adjacent to the ceiling of the cargo compartment, to support a cargo blanket carried on the framework, and to permit raising and lowering of the framework and cargo blanket.

A trolley control system for a gantry crane having a multiple trolley arrangement such as a first and second trolley. The control system including a trolley beam connected to the gantry crane with a first and second drive device connected to the trolley beam. The first drive device is powered by a first drive system while the second drive device can be powered by either the first drive system or the second drive system. A first trolley is connected to the first drive device while a second trolley is connected to the second drive device.

Abstract:

A container retention device comprises a housing and an actuator having a first portion disposed in the housing and a second portion movable between a first position inside the housing to a second position outside the housing. The device further comprises a first link assembly in the housing engageable by the first portion of the actuator and movable in response to movement of the second portion between the first and second positions. Also, a second link assembly is disposed in the housing having a third portion engageable by the first link, a fourth portion, and a fifth portion disposed between the third portion and the fourth portion wherein the third portion and the fourth portion are rotatable about the fifth portion in response to movement of the first link assembly. A locking member is extendable outside the housing in response to movement of the second portion to the first position. A container retention method is also disclosed.
