Abstract:

A tire pressure gauge apparatus for securing to a vehicle tire valve stem mounted to a tire valve stem port in a vehicle tire, the valve stem including a tubular stem body containing a valve assembly having a valve opening mechanism, the stem body having a stem connection end fitting sealingly to the tire valve stem port, and having a stem air receiving end, the apparatus including a housing for placement in fluid communication with received air from within the tire contained within the tire valve stem; a structure for opening the valve opening mechanism; and a pressure equilibration structure dividing the housing into a received air chamber and a biasing air chamber and including a pressure indicator element, the pressure equilibration structure and the pressure indicator element being movable relative to the housing, and the pressure indicator element displaying a pressure reading of received air from within the tire which varies with the position of the pressure equilibration structure relative to the housing; so that alteration of the pressure of received air within the received air chamber from the valve stem causes movement of the equilibration structure within the housing to re-establish pressure equilibrium between biasing air sealed within the biasing air chamber and received air within the received air chamber, and movement of the equilibration structure causes the indicator element to move relative to the housing to provide a received air pressure reading.

Abstract:

A portable toilet apparatus includes a seat elevating structure; an annular seat structure having an open middle and resting on the seat elevating structure, and including a sack securing mechanism; and a waste collection sack having a closed sack lower end and an open sack upper end removably secured to the annular seat structure with a waste collection sack engagement structure. The seat elevating structure preferably includes an annular bellows having a tubular accordion outer bellows side wall and a tubular accordion inner bellows side wall spaced inwardly from the outer bellows side wall, and an annular upper bellows wall and annular lower bellows wall integrally joined to the inner and outer bellows side walls to define an annular bellows interior space for releasibly trapping air, the upper bellows wall being sized to fit and fitting within the annular seat structure and providing a yielding, resilient cushion effect when the annular seat structure is sat upon. The annular bellows preferably has an expanded mode and has one or more compressed modes, and is molded from resilient material in its expanded mode, so that the resilience of the resilient material biases the bellows to return to its expanded mode after the annular bellows is compressed, the annular bellows additionally including a valve port and a bellows air valve sealingly fitted into the valve port.

A vacuum packed suitcase with specially arranged sealable compartments for vacuum sealing of articles of travel such as clothing and makeup accessories, the suitcase including a top cover and a more rigidly constructed bottom receptacle, the bottom receptacle having one or more separate article compartments separated by vertical or horizontal walls for organizing the articles of travel, the top cover and bottom receptacle being airtight when sealed over each other so that after packing the articles of travel the air in the compartments can be removed separately or collectively by means of a vacuum pump, thereby reducing the volume of the articles of travel to a minimum and thus increasing storage efficiency.

Abstract:

A waste disposer assist tool for automatically feeding waste food contained within the housing of a standard kitchen electric food disposer and for spraying liquid soap. The tool includes a hollow handle and a piston which screw together through a central hole of a flexible plunger. The plunger is held between respective flanges ofthe handle and the piston with the piston slightly protruding from within the plunger. The tool is positioned over the opening of the sink above the garbage disposer with the piston fitted within and in a substantially air-tight seal with the interior of the housing of the disposer unit. The plunger fits in a substantially air-tight seal against the bottom interior of the sink. The slight vacuum created by the outflow of ground food waste and water by the garbage disposer blades below the piston causes the higher ambient pressure against the upper side of the plunger to force the piston downward against he waste food in an automatic feed fashion.

Abstract:

A spill resistant insect bait station particularly adapted for use with liquid or gel insecticide consists of a generally cylindrical housing having an open end, a closed end, and a removable end cap assembly adapted for removable attachment with said open end. The housing interior functions as a reservoir for liquid or gel bait formulations, such as attractants and toxicants. Axial apertures formed in the housing ends provide insects with access to the interior of the housing through a series of openings defined in the walls of internal tube and shaft structures. A spiral baffle projects radially outward from the shaft for sealing engagement with the inner wall of the tubular structure to prevent spillage of liquid bait, while defining a passage for insects leading to the liquid bait. A series of offset openings in the shaft and tube walls provide access to the housing interior.
