Longtime Houston RE/MAX Associate Michael Gonzalez, a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and a Platinum Club producer in 2013 for his $11 million in transactions, has opened RE/MAX Evolve directly adjacent to Springwoods Village in north Houston, the 2000 acre master-planned community centered around the new Exxon campus. The company opens in August with a temporary location at 20551 I-45 North, Suite E, and will transition into a permanent location inside Springwoods Village as soon as construction and build-out is complete on the massive retail section of the sprawling community. “Our vision is to be at the center of real estate activity in this area,” said Gonzalez, “and capitalize on one of the largest employee relocation shifts Houston has ever experienced. We have been in the discussion and planning phase of this for a couple of years, and with the level of market activity we’re seeing, our timing could not have been better.” “The Exxon campus is of course the big drawing card for the entire development, and we’ve been fortunate to secure a future location right inside the community as it begins what will ultimately be a 10 to 20 year life-cycle of sales. That, along with the other relationships we’ve developed over the past 12 or 13 years in this area, will sustain our office and agents for literally years to come. Ultimately tens of thousands of newcomers from all over the U.S. will sell their current home for this migration to Texas, and fortunately for our agents, RE/MAX is usually the dominant real estate company in their town, just like it is in Houston.” RE/MAX has dominant market share in Houston, The Woodlands, Cy-Fair, and virtually every service are proximate to the new RE/MAX Evolve. Gonzalez’ business partner, Santosh Enukonda, is an investor and serial entrepreneur who had purchased numerous properties from Michael prior to forming the alliance leading to the RE/MAX Evolve office. The holder of an MBA in Computer Science, Santosh has founded, developed and sold several successful companies that facilitate internet technology. Gonzalez characterizes him as “a genius with extended resources.” “I can’t begin to say how excited I am to be taking this next step,” said Gonzalez. “I do a lot of commercial business, and we’re bringing aboard agents with specialties in both residential and commercial transactions. Santosh and I are both technology fanatics, and we’re going to implement the leading edge platforms and services that allow our agents to maximize their time and efforts.” “We have a terrific team with our broker of record Tony Romano, our office administrator Ashlee Discher, my assistant Yuliana Pena, who is bi-lingual, and our buyer’s agent Kimberly Morris.” RE/MAX Evolve has cultivated industry relationships that provide turn-key service to buyers and sellers, including a preferred title company, Homeland Title and their Associate Nicole Baker.
