Abstract:

This invention comprises a system and a method for managing a plurality of video assets via code executing in a processor. The system and method include a user interface, a controller configured to receive metadata associated with the plurality of video assets through the user interface, a database communicatively coupled to the controller in order to store the metadata, a sequence generator communicatively coupled to the database to generate a playlist from the metadata, a generator module communicatively coupled to the sequence generator module, wherein the generator module is configured to generate a uniform resource locator address (URL) that points to a playlist comprising related video assets and a communications module for providing the URL to a remote machine.

An example includes a segment collector to: access impression records indicative of media access segments, the media access segments including start times and end times corresponding to media accessed by a panelist; and determine ones of the impression records that include a watermark corresponding to a first media platform presenting the media; a segment classifier to convert a first one of the impression records including the watermark to a converted impression record; and combine the converted impression record corresponding to the first media platform and a second impression record corresponding to a second media platform; and a media creditor to generate audience measurement metrics based on the combined impression records.

Abstract:

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for determining media access sessions. In an example, an apparatus to determine media access sessions includes a record locator to access, in a data store, a first media impression record indicative of a first media access segment, and a second media impression record indicative of a second media access segment and a view counter. The view counter is to update at least one of the first or second media impression records in the data store, when the second media access segment occurs within a threshold time after the first media access segment, to indicate that the first and second media access segments are associated with a same first media access session. The view counter is also to update the second media impression record to indicate an association between the second media access segment and a second media access session, when the second media access segment occurs more than the threshold time after the first media access segment, the second media access session being different from a first media access session corresponding to the first media access segment.
