As information continues to surface regarding the events surrounding 16-year-old Kimani Grays shooting by NYPD officers on March 9th, it appears that the initially unnamed Officers Jovaniel Cordova (pictured below left) and Sergeant Mourad Mourad (pictured below) reportedly cost the New York Police
A spokesman for the Brooklyn District Attorney's office said an investigation continued to determine whether Officer Jovaniel Cordova and Sgt. Mourad Mourad will face a grand jury. The police department has said Mr. Gray pointed a .38 caliber revolver at them before the two officers fired 11 bullets
Community members rallied on Church Avenue in East Flatbush near the area where 16-year-old Kimani Gray was shot and killed by Sgt. Mourad Mourad and officer Jovaniel Cordova. Police officials say the teen pulled a gun on them before he was killed.
