Abstract:

A method of making a reverse progressive lens has the steps of selecting a standard progressive lens having a distance zone, a transition zone and a near zone; selecting an add determination that is double or more than double in power; reversing the regular progressive lens by orienting it upside down; and cutting away the near zone so that the transition zone becomes the new near zone. To maintain convergence of the corridor channel, one by orders the OS lens with the OD power and the OD lens with the OS power. The method also includes measuring a distance PD, measuring the segment height and keeping the same cylinder axis such that rotating the lens 180 does not change the axis position. Selecting a standard progressive lens may include one with a distance zone, a corridor/transition zone and a near zone.

Abstract:

Systems and methods are described for managing DNS records. An intermediary device, such as a web portal or API, may be configured to communicate with a variety of domain name servers. The intermediary device may store authorization rules to verify commands from users to update records of the domain name servers. The authorization rules allow for users to have limited access to domain zones, domain records, domain servers, types of records, records associated with metadata, and other data. The domain name servers may store domain name records in a common data store allowing for extended searching and metadata tagging of data.

Abstract:

In various embodiments, a cell culture medium, or a nucleoside cocktail transmission (NCT) medium for the culture of stem cells with improved genetic stability, cellular function and regeneration ability is provided. Illustrative culture media comprise a basal culture medium for stem cells, where the culture medium is supplemented with one or more nucleoside triphosphates (e.g., dNTPs and/or NPs) or one or more precursors thereof. Illustrative NCT media comprise a delivery vehicle (e g. skin creams or other vehicle) containing one or more nucleoside triphosphates (e.g., dNTPs and/or NPs) or one or more precursors thereof. The NCT medium provides, inter alia, direct delivery of nucleoside cocktails into human tissues (such as skin) for regenerative, cosmetic and/or therapeutic purposes.
