Abstract:

A method of representing high-dimensional information collects, organizes, and presents information on how a target interacts with objects. As the target, such as an individual or group, moves between the objects, the method collects navigation data indicative of the targets path. Relationships are identified in the navigation data, with the relationship data being aggregated to articulate a behavior. Once the behavior has been identified, an indicia indicative of the behavior is selected. A representation of selected objects is arranged on a display, and the indicia is mapped to the arranged objects. In such a manner, the high-dimensional behavior aspect of the navigation data is efficiently and concisely presented in relation to the objects.

Abstract:

A high performance terminal input/output subsystem for connecting a multiplicity of user devices to a multi-user computer includes a single-board host adapter which is mounted in a single bus slot in the host computer card cage and provides the communication between the subsystem and the host computer. One or more multiple terminal, intelligent cluster controllers is remotely located from and coupled to the host adapter by means of a coaxial cable. The cluster controllers are multidropped from the coaxial cable in daisy chain fashion. Communication between the host adapter and cluster controllers utilizes a high speed communication line employing a 2. 5 Mbit/second baseband, token-passing, serial bus, local area network protocol. Each cluster controller provides local terminal connections for 8 or 16 user devices.

Abstract:

A solid state mow system monitors and controls operations of a greens maintenance machine. This solid state system controls the other systems on the machine including: an interlock system, a reel lift control system, a cutting unit control system, a groomer control system, a backlap control system, a mow relay system or any other greens maintenance type system. The interlock system monitors input and output signals to determine if all of the preconditions to operation have been satisfied. The lift control system controls raising and lowering the cutting units. The mow control system controls the operation of cutting unit motors.
