Abstract:
A lubrication system for a cotton harvester having a plurality of harvesting units. The lubrication system comprises a lubricant source for providing pressurized lubricant to each of the harvesting units to facilitate their operation and a control mechanism for measuring cyclic operations of harvesting units operating components during a harvesting procedure. The control mechanism controls operation of the lubricant source such that the amounts of lubricant provided to the harvesting units during a lubrication cycle is correlated to the lubricant usage of the harvesting units during the harvesting procedure. A salient feature of the present invention relates to a display for visually indicating the cyclic operations remaining for the harvesting units before another lubrication cycle is due to be commenced. The display furthermore provides a visual indication relating to the operating performance of the lubrication system.
Cotton Flow Monitoring System For A Cotton Harvester
A system for monitoring cotton flow through a conveying system of a cotton harvester. The monitoring system includes acoustic sensors for generating pulses or signals as a function of sound produced from cotton impinging upon a walled conveying duct of the conveying system. The sensors are connected to detector circuitry which provides a first signal condition when cotton flow through the duct is above a first level and a second signal condition when cotton flow is below the first level. The system of the present invention further includes an alarm which is responsive to outputs from the detector circuitry.

Abstract:
An anti-theft security system for an off-road vehicle is disclosed. The system includes a master control module, which may be part of the vehicle's instrument cluster, and a remotely located security module, which is directly adjacent to at least one electrically-operated actuator of the vehicle normally operated as part of transporting the vehicle to another location. The security module includes a tamper-resistant housing which obstructs physical access to at least part of the actuator. The master module, which may include a microprocessor and LED display, has an operator interface such as a keypad for entering a first access code known only to authorized operators of the vehicle. When the sequence of entered keystrokes matches the first access code stored within the master module, the module automatically generates and transmits to the security module a signal containing a second and different access code. When the security module determines that the received signal is coded with the same second access code stored within its memory, a power switch within the security module is energized, thereby providing electrical power to the actuator so that the vehicle may be moved.
Solid State Mow System For Electrically Powered Mower
A solid state mow system monitors and controls operations of a greens maintenance machine. This solid state system controls the other systems on the machine including: an interlock system, a reel lift control system, a cutting unit control system, a groomer control system, a backlap control system, a mow relay system or any other greens maintenance type system. The interlock system monitors input and output signals to determine if all of the preconditions to operation have been satisfied. The lift control system controls raising and lowering the cutting units. The mow control system controls the operation of cutting unit motors.
