Abstract:

A smart phonebook search method comprises collecting, from a customer, a phone number to use for a dial-up connection, filtering any national direct dialing prefix from the collected number, obtaining a country code from an operating system of the smart phonebook search, matching a pattern of a prefix of the collected number with area codes for a country of the customer to provide a closest entry for said connection, and selecting a phone number for said dial-up connection, the phone number having a customer provided area code and the operating system provided country code.

The present invention relates to a system and method for a retail collaboration network platform. In some embodiments, the system and method for a retail collaboration network platform includes a portal which the user is able to log in to via a network. The system includes connectivity to a plurality of retailer and vendor analytic tools. These analytic tools may include tools for promotion analysis, price optimization, product assortment, and market analysis. In addition to analytic tools, the platform may include collaborative tools which may interface with the analytic tools. These collaborative tools enable retailers and vendors to work together and with partners to share information and develop and implement strategies based on analytic tools to achieve their respective business objectives. The collaborative tools may be enabled to create at least one workgroup, generate a contact list, monitor the workgroup and contact list for activity and display any such activity. In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method for training a decision tree using a database system, the decision tree comprising a plurality nodes, comprises, by one or more computing devices: storing in a database input data for training the decision tree, the input data comprising a plurality of feature values corresponding to a plurality of features; generating a particular node of the plurality of decision nodes by: selecting a subset of the plurality of features and a subset of the input data; using one or more queries to the database system, for each feature of the subset of the plurality of features, calculating an information gain associated with the feature based on the subset of the input data; identifying a particular feature of the subset of the plurality of features associated with the highest information gain; associating the particular node with the particular feature, wherein the particular node causes the decision tree to branch based on the particular feature.

Abstract:

Apparatus, methods and systems to associate a flight plan of an unmanned aerial vehicle (e.g., a drone) with a cryptographic signature are disclosed herein. Some disclosed examples include one or more non-transitory computer-readable media including computer-executable instructions. The computer readable instructions, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to compare a flight path over a geographic area of an unmanned aerial vehicle to a geographically identified no-fly zone. The flight path is included in a flight plan. The instructions also cause the vehicle to determine whether the flight path enters the geographically identified no-fly zone, and based on whether the flight path is determined to enter the geographically identified no-fly zone, associate the flight plan with a cryptographic signature.
