Abstract:

An improved solution for generating a custom report is provided. A tagged file is obtained, which comprises data and graphic information for the custom report. Image data for the custom report is generated based on the tagged file. The custom report is generated based on the image data, the tagged file, and a report definition for the custom report. In one embodiment, a computer infrastructure is provided for generating a custom report in multiple report formats based on content received from one or more diverse data sources.

Abstract:

A method, system, and computer program product for providing authentication and entitlement services is provided. The method includes creating a profile record and associating an access element with the record, the access element coupled to a biometric scan device. The method also includes receiving a first instance of at least two biometric scans. The method further includes receiving a first sequence for the first instance, which specifies an order of the at least two biometric scans. The method also includes receiving an access request via the access element and the biometric scan device, which includes a second instance of at least two biometric scans, and which are received in a second sequence. The method further includes comparing the first and second instances and the first and second sequences, and granting the access request only if the first and second instances match and only if the first and second sequences match.

A system, method and computer program product for backing up contents of a data storage device provided in a computing device. The system is an RFID-based system comprising: an RFID device provided in the computing device and adapted for receiving and sending RFID signals, and in response to receipt of an RFID signal, the device generating an activation signal representing an instruction to backup data storage device contents of said data storage device contents in response to receipt of an RFID signal; and, a control means responsive to the activation signal received from the RFID device for invoking logic to initiate a physical copying and transmission of contents of said data storage device to a remote storage device for full or incremental backed up storage therein. By applying GPS and RFID object movement can be detected and alerts triggered and data signals generated that invokes logic to yield both a disk or data backup and purge operation.

Abstract:

This invention provides methods and computer program products for a reduced volume precision data quality information cleansing feedback process. More specifically, a method according to one embodiment of the invention receives a request from a user for information from an electronic information warehouse. In response to the request, the information is transmitted to the user. Feedback is received from the user, wherein the feedback includes errors in content of the information and errors in relationship data. The relationship data has data describing how a data entry in the information relates to other data entries in the information. The feedback also includes proposals on how to correct the errors in the content and the errors in the relationship data. In another embodiment, the user is prompted for feedback.

An embodiment of the invention provides a method for identifying and combining services. More specifically, the method identifies services in a domain and domain concepts within the domain, wherein the domain concepts are input and output of the services.
