Greetings and, thanks for taking the time to read my Facebook profile and finding out about me. Mostly, I am just your average, very lucky guy that manages a busy life, work I enjoy and overcoming daily overall situations. It is a challenge to take care of my Ex-Partner and best friend, three cats and then trying to fit in a social life. I manage to hold it together by taking the time to follow my passions of life, fun thru computers and social media, and watching both television and movies when I can. I am a very forward and up front person. I have learned that life is too short for drama and games. I do not hide behind social expectations, nor do I put on a “face” to others. If you ever do meet me expect me to be just who exactly who I am. Honest and witty, brutally forthcoming, upbeat, supportive, caring, and loyal to everyone I meet then consider a friend or close acquaintance. Tell you teach me otherwise through your actions and deeds to me, then I respectfully and kindly ignore you. This is how I am.I feel that I do have a blessed life at times. If you want to get to know me you need to understand my life. Yes, I am a homosexual man. I have a Partner and have been together since February 2002. I have been living in Tucson, Arizona since 2006. I am the youngest son of a family of three siblings. Both my parents are still living and together. I am a liberal Democrat. I have a job working as a Correctional Officer for the State of Arizona. I have a daughter that was born in 1999 through two wonderful women that I respect, admire and honor. However, this is a fraction of my personality. To get to know me and who I am better read on. I am a transplant from Washington State. I grew up in Bremerton since I was 8, with my parents moving brother and sister and I there to make a better life for the whole family. When I graduated high school I enlisted in the Army. Spent 15 interesting years active duty, tell I moved to Arizona from Hawaii. I was Stationed in Fort Huachuca for over five years and then decided due to the current military climate, remove myself from a potential risk of losing my life on a conflict that I felt we had no business being in. This conflict was the military actions in both Iraq and Afghanistan and I still feel that we should not have gone, let alone try and still maintain our presence and forces there.The biggest joy and frustration at times is my Partner Mike. Since I have met my partner I have grown as a person with his help and guidance. He was there at a time that I needed him the most. If you ever consider that fate puts people together to make them BOTH better, that would be our partnership. We have grown as a couple and found ourselves better for it. Life has put challenges in front of the both of us. Mike, with his health and medical issues, then trying to maintain a daily level of functionality. Me in having to help him make his daily life better. I would have to say that if and when I do finally lose him to his medical issues, I will for a time cease to function. I do love him that much. Because of Mike, I have found that I can be more independent and self reliant. As I grow older I realize that after Mike I will probably not want another partnership, considering that the current partnership I have now has been so fulfilling. It could change, though right now I will not even entertain the idea.I am a liberal democrat with some social ideas. I believe that we as a society should be equal on all levels; sexually, mentally, morally, and yes even financially. I believe that the GLBT community should have the same rights and equality as heterosexuals. I feel that everyone should own a gun and know how to responsibly use one. I feel that there should not be any class of people or judged by how much money you make. That if you make more money than others, you have a responsibility to help those less fortunate then you. If you do a crime against society, then you must do a reasonable time of punishment and make amends for your bad judgment.To summarize – I feel that I am a well rounded, complicated individual that loves his life and environment.
