About:

Todd Rice joined the Blue Ridge Realty and Investments sales team in 2004 after a successful ten year career in the hospitality industry where he worked in Convention Sales and Management with the Hyatt and Hilton Hotels Corporations. With Hyatt and Hilton, Todd worked in Dallas, Denver, Chicago, and New York City. Although he enjoyed his work in the "big cities", Todd decided to return to the mountains to pursue his interests in real estate and land development. Todd's extensive knowledge of the Boone, Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis, Linville, and Banner Elk areas, coupled with his never-ending customer service, allow him to fulfill the particular needs of each and every customer. Todd is a member of the Yonahlossee Resort Racquet Club and has experience and knowledge within the Yonahlossee Resort community, as well as surrounding resorts within the High Country. Luxury Homes and new construction are focus areas for properties which Todd represents. Since joining Blue Ridge Realty, he has worked tirelessly with his father, John Rice, learning first hand the business of land development. He shares his father's principles believing that with careful planning properties can be developed with minimal impact on the environment. He has been instrumental in the development of several new mountain communities including the Forest at Sunalei, Boulder Ridge, Raven Cliff, and Timber Ridge. Todd has served as a member to the Board of Directors for the Avery-Watauga Association of Realtors, member of the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS), and on the Board of Directors for the High Country Conservancy. Todd, and his wife, Tuesdae, live with their three dogs and two cats, and enjoy hiking, sailing, tennis, skiing, and renovation of older homes.
