Abstract:

A feed device for a distillation tower or column with a flash zone, wash zone and stripping zone has an annular, open-bottomed channel located around the periphery of the feed zone of the tower with an inner wall spaced from the inner curved wall of the tower and a top covering the channel to confer a generally inverted-U shape to the cross section of the channel. One or more tangential feed inlets are provided to admit a heated, mixed phase feed to the tower and direct the feed into and along the channel. One or more vapor scoops are provided for each feed inlet with the scoop(s) located on the inner wall of the channel, each at a sufficient distance along the channel from the inlet to permit cyclonic separation of vapor and liquid to take place before the vapor in the feed from the inlet enters the scoop(s) and passes through a vapor exit port into the central core of the tower. The tower is preferably used with a radial louvre baffle at the top of the stripping zone.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may establish, via a first subscriber service, at least one protocol data unit (PDU) session. The UE may receive a first internet protocol (IP) address associated with the first subscriber service. The UE may register the first subscriber service with an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) network using the first IP address. The UE may register a second subscriber service with the IMS network using a second IP address, wherein the second subscriber service uses the at least one PDU session of the first subscriber service. Abstract:

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for enabling collision mitigation for a user equipment (UE) operating in a dual active mode. In some aspects, the UE may generate a communication for a first subscription in a first time window associated with a first priority for a time domain division pattern with a second subscription. The UE may transmit, using the first subscription, the communication in a second time window associated with a second priority for the time domain division pattern. For example, the second time window associated with the second priority may be a time window in which traffic for the first subscription is prioritized. In some aspects, the UE may select modified periodic intervals for transmissions of a communication to mitigate collisions associated with the time domain division pattern. For example, a transmission time of the periodic communication may be varied (or randomized) over time.

Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect that a first subscription, of a plurality of subscriptions associated with the UE, is associated with an active service on a first cellular network. The UE may search, for a second subscription of the plurality of subscriptions, for radio access technologies (RATs) and frequency bands that are compatible with a dual active mode of the UE. In some aspects, the UE may detect that the active service on the first cellular network has ended. Accordingly, the UE may search, for the second subscription, for RATs and frequency bands that are compatible with the dual active mode of the UE and for RATs and frequency bands that are incompatible with the dual active mode, before expiry of a timer associated with a power saving state. Abstract:

A configuration is disclosed to enable a UE to preempt SRVCC by triggering a handover to a Wi-Fi network. The apparatus determines whether a Wi-Fi cell is viable as a first target cell, from a plurality of target cells, serving the UE to continue the active transmission on the Wi-Fi cell. The apparatus extends a TTT timer length based at least in part on the determination that the Wi-Fi cell is viable as the target cell serving the UE to continue the active transmission on the Wi-Fi cell. The apparatus initiates a handover to the Wi-Fi cell from the first network prior to the expiration of a TTT timer and prior to the first network initiating a handover to a second target cell, from the plurality of target cells, on a second network.
