Abstract:

Disclosed herein is a tape locking device for tape measures. The tape locking device comprises a locking lever hinged to an upper portion of the wall of the housing in such a way to be rotated frontward and rearward around a hinged joint, and provided with a connecting piece downwardly extending from the locking lever. A cylinder is connected at its first end to a hole formed at the lower portion of the connecting piece, with a coil spring fitted over the cylinder. A wedge-shaped stopper is connected to the second end of the cylinder, and having a desired frictional force. This stopper is elastically biased by the coil spring to be wedged in the gap between the outer circumferential surface of a wound part of the tape around the bobbin and a linear part of the tape led to the slot when releasing the locking lever after drawing a desired length of tape from the slot, so the drawn tape is automatically locked by frictional contact between the stopper surface and the drawn tape surface.

Abstract:

A spare fuel tank, installed inside a main fuel tank, having a reasonable volumetric capacity, of small box shape, and having a spare fuel suction pipe there from to the fuel injection pipe. The spare tank of this invention is manufactured at the same time with the main tank, therefore, does not need separate fuel supplying or specific piping connection with the main fuel tank owing to its place. Releasing of the fuel from inside the spare tank is activated by power on the switch connected to a solenoid valve blocking the spare fuel suction pipe.

Abstract:

A safe method of stopping a stolen car without chasing at high speeds, utilizing a bar code implanted between the inner layer and outer layer of a rear safety glass is comprised of steps: 1) scan the barcode, 2) compare the read in barcode with those of the stolen cars stored in the police computer net, 3) trigger one of the three stopping means of this invention. Those three stopping means are: 1) turn off the engine, 2) puncture the rear tires with bullets, and 3) puncture the rear tires by mechanical means.

A tape measure includes an automatic blade extension mechanism. Abstract:

A fuel tank, which is equipped with two fuel outlet tubes that are merged to one fuel injection pipe to engine, is provided. First fuel outlet tube is located at a corner of the bottom of the fuel tank. Second fuel outlet tube is located on a wall just 2. 5 centimeter above the first fuel outlet tube. A fuel level gauge, on instrument panel in front of a driver's seat, turns on ‘red’ signal when a floating valve in the fuel tank reaches to a level 2. 5 centimeter above the second fuel outlet tube. When the floating valve reaches a level of the second fuel outlet tube, needle of the level gauge indicates the bottom of the level gauge. Though the gauge indicates that the fuel tank is empty, gasoline in the fuel tank is fed to the engine. Purpose of the current invention is to alert the driver of the vehicle that fuel must be charged immediately.
