Abstract:
Systems and methods are discussed that allow profile information to be reused by various versions of a program. One illustrative aspect includes a method for comparing versions of a program in binary format. The method includes finding equivalent contents in portions of two versions of the program, finding equivalent structure in the portions of the two versions, and forming a match when a portion of one of the two versions is an equivalence of a portion of the other of the two versions.

Abstract:
A waveguide structure is provided. The waveguide structure includes a photonic crystal structure comprising gyromagnetic materials arranged in a two-dimensional lattice formation that exhibits a plurality of one-way modes produced as a result of magneto-optic effects. One or more confining barriers are positioned around the photonic crystal structure so as to allow the one-way modes to propagate through the photonic crystal structure. One or more radiation sources are positioned in or around the photonic crystal structure so as to couple electromagnetic energy into and out of the waveguide. One or more static external magnetic field sources induce the magneto-optic effects such that the one-way modes are allowed to propagate in one direction in the photonic crystal structure.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a doped cerium oxide sorbent that can effectively and regenerably remove HS in the temperature range of about 500 C. to about 1000 C. Regenerable sorbents (e. g. , ZnO, LaO, CeO) and methods of using them are disclosed that allow cyclic desulfurization from about 300-500 C. , 350-450 C. , and at about 400 C. In one embodiment, the present invention relates to a method of desulfurizing fuel gas comprising passing the fuel gas through the sorbent at a space velocity wherein the sulfur compounds are adsorbed substantially on the surface of the sorbent; and regenerating the sorbent by passing a regenerating gas through the sorbent, wherein substantially all of the sulfur compounds are desorbed from the sorbent surface. In a further embodiment, the method of desulfurizing fuel gas further comprises repeating the aforementioned steps while the fuel processor is in operation. In another embodiment, the step of passing the fuel gas may be preceded by reducing the sorbent by passing a reducing gas through the sorbent.

Abstract:
A resonator system comprises an optical resonator that supports one or more pairs of nearly degenerate defect states. One or more magnetic domains comprising at least one gyrotropic material in the optical resonator cause magneto-optical coupling between the two states so that the system lacks time-reversal symmetry. In one embodiment, a single magnetic domain is used that dominates induced magneto-optical coupling between the defect states. The above resonator system may be used together with other components such as waveguides to form circulators, add drop filters, switches and memories.
