The ligature resistant hinge cover further comprising a sloping top portion bridging the gap between the top of the door and the top of the cabinet with a sloping rounded top edge. A concave hinge portion adjacent the hinge. A convex outside adapted to provide a smooth transition from the cabinet to the door.

The invention is directed to a ligature proof wall mounted bed having a bed body molded of plastic or the like attached to a bed frame on a wall. The bed frame may comprise end supports having sloping surfaces attached to the wall by end plates. The sloping surfaces may extend up above the frame or down below the frame. The end supports may have molded outer shells adapted to receive the bed body in a ligature proof engagement. The frame may comprise support members extending normal to the wall to provide a support for the body. A mattress may be removably disposed on the bed body.
