Abstract:

A fluid delivery assembly transfers fluid from a first fluid-filled container filled to a second fluid container. The fluid delivery assembly includes a tube extending through a tube length between a base end which is fixedly secured to one of the first and second fluid containers and a distal end. The tube has an inner surface defining a tube contour. The fluid delivery assembly also includes a mating yoke secured to the other containers. The mating yoke defines a body periphery correlating to the tube contour such that the mating yoke in the one fluid containers is received within the tube and is capable of moving along the tube length until the first and second fluid containers are in fluid communication. Another aspect of this invention is it incorporates a container which eliminates the need for an exposed needle to draw the medicine out of the container.

A healthcare services provider system for providing an informational processing interface at a mobile device includes a mobile device including an interface configured to () present a display screen to receive user input to control a central processing unit that is operably coupled to at least one healthcare provider; () transmit, via a wireless network, a mobile device command indicating a scheduling request or inquiry, the command being generated in response to user input, () receive, via the wireless network and in response to the mobile device command, first data indicative of the status of the remote central processing unit, and; () present an updated display screen, the updated display screen reflecting the responsive information and history if any as a result of the mobile device command to present a real-time display from the remote central processing unit.

Abstract:

An app to simplify the way patients can order their medication via uploading the script just like a check deposit mechanism on their smartphones. The app includes these steps: the patient signs up as an individual or family by upload a photo id and providing insurance info, doctor info and credit card info against which to charge any co pay and a fee in case the patient decides to cancel the order after being accepted; the patient enters present and past medications; and the patient will get an alert once a refill is due, thereby enabling pharmacies to compete to give better prices and better service, including home.
