Abstract:

Mechanisms for reducing the number of block masks required for programming multiple access control lists in an associative memory are disclosed. A combined ordering of masks corresponding to multiple access control lists (ACLs) is typically identified, with the multiple ACLs including n ACLs. An n-dimensional array is generated, wherein each axis of the n-dimensional array corresponds to masks in their requisite order of a different one of the multiple ACLs. The n-dimensional array progressively identifies numbers of different masks required for subset orderings of masks required for subsets of the multiple ACLs. The n-dimensional array is traversed to identify a sequence of masks corresponding to a single ordering of masks including masks required for each of the multiple ACLs.

Methods, devices, and systems for creating and using a trusted host list for Transport Layer Security (TLS) sessions are provided. The proposed solutions described herein provide a mechanism of specifying authorization policy for TLS sessions where such authorization was traditionally implied by the possession of a certificate issued by a mutually trusted third party. A system creates a trusted group of devices for single sign on. The trusted group is a set of two or more devices which can communicate securely to exchange information about the states of the devices. The two or more devices can arrange or establish the trusted group through the exchange of credentials or authentication information. After the establishment of the trusted group, the two or more devices may communicate through a secure connection established between the members of the trusted group. Each device may then execute normally and may encounter events that change the status of the device. Information about the locking or unlocking of the computer can be exchanged with the other members of the trusted group and the other members may also lock or unlock in concert.

An integrated circuit clock analysis system receives a cell library of gates of the integrated circuit and generates a macro model for each of the gates, where each macro model includes at least one of a nonlinear current source model, an input parasitics model or a nonlinear capacitors model. The system then tunes the macro models and generates a simulation deck from an electrical netlist of a layout of the integrated circuit and the tuned macro models. The system then performs clock analysis simulation based on the simulation deck.
