Abstract:

An asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) switch is configured to automatically generate Operations, Administration and Management (OAM) cells for a loopback test at a first connection whenever the first connection is not receiving user data traffic. The ATM switch may include a switch management module which generates the OAM cells that are transmitted from the first connection whenever a control processor initiates the loopback test.

Abstract:

A process is provided for documenting the contents of at least one version of a plurality of data products stored in a database, at least one of the products being a composite product having at least a portion of at least one of the data products included therein. The process includes the steps of: creating a state file to be associated with a version of a composite product to be created, the state file specifying a selected version of at least one selected data product to be used in creating the composite product; using the state file to access the selected version of the selected product from the database; creating the version of the composite product by including therein at least a portion of the selected version of the selected product; and generating a state history file associated with the version of the composite product, the state history file indicating that at least a portion of the selected version of the selected product is included within the version of the composite product. The documenting process also includes the steps of: assigning a product name to the composite product; storing the version of the composite product in the database; and storing the state history file in the database. The documenting further includes a step of assigning a version value to the version of the composite product.

Abstract:

Provided is an apparatus that includes an integrated circuit (IC) mounted on a chip carrier. The IC has one or more differential pair circuits coupled thereto and the chip carrier has a signal escaping portion and a remaining portion. The apparatus also includes differential signal lines coupled to the differential pair circuits, the differential signal lines (i) extending through the chip carrier and (ii) having first and second segments. A method and system generate an enhanced output image. A first image is acquired of a scene illuminated by a first illumination condition. A second image is acquired of the scene illuminated by a second illumination condition. First and second gradient images are determined from the first and second images. Orientations of gradients in the first and second gradient images are compared to produce a combined gradient image, and an enhanced output image is constructed from the combined gradient image.

Abstract:

A method and system deblurs images acquired of a scene by a camera. A light field acquired of a scene is modulated temporally according to a sequence of ons and offs. An optimal coding pattern is selected. The modulated light field is integrated by a sensor of a camera during an exposure time to generate an encoded input image. The encoded input image is decoded according to a pseudo-inverse of a smearing matrix to produce a decoded output image having a reduced blur.

Abstract:

A method increases a resolution of a moving object in an image acquired of a scene by a camera. The image scene is temporally modulated according to a temporally encoding pattern, while integrating the image in a camera sensor to produce a blurred input image. The blurred input image is resolved according to the temporally encoding pattern to produce an enhanced and deblurred output image in which the object has an increased resolution.
