Abstract:

A hand tool for applying a torque to a threaded fastener includes a tool body having an opening and a fastener engaging mechanism rotatably mounted in the opening. A control assembly comprising a cylindrical roller, spring assembly and control switch are mounted with respect to the tool body. The spring assembly biases the roller against surfaces on the tool body and the fastener engaging mechanism. The roller the releasably locks the faster engaging mechanism to the tool body when the tool body is rotated through a drive stroke. The tool body can be moved through drive and return strokes of any arc length with no significant lost motion.

Abstract:

A ratchet wrench includes a body with a head portion and a shaft. The head portion includes a cavity. A rotatable member is received by the cavity and is rotatable about an axis. The rotatable member has a plurality of teeth disposed around a circumferential surface thereof. A reversing member is pivotally mounted to the body, and is movable between a first position and a second position. A pawl is connected to the reversing member such that the pawl moves circumferentially relative to the axis of the rotatable member as the reversing member moves between the first and second positions. The pawl includes a plurality of teeth that intermesh with the plurality of teeth on the rotatable member. Substantially all of the teeth of the pawl remain intermeshed with the teeth of the rotatable member as the reversing member moves between the first position and the second position.

Abstract:

A storage structure includes a housing. A front wall is movable to and from a closed position closing a forwardly facing opening of the housing. The front wall includes an upper section covering an upper part of the opening in the closed position thereof and a lower section covering a lower part of the opening in the closed position thereof. The lower section can be moved generally rectilinearly relative to the upper section into generally parallel, overlapped relation with the upper section. The upper section is pivotably mounted to the housing so that the front wall can be pivoted upwardly into a storage position generally parallel to and underneath the top wall for storing the upper and lower sections in the generally parallel, overlapped relation underneath the top wall. Abstract:

Disclosed is a three-phase emulsion comprising an aqueous-gel outer phase; and a water-in-oil inner phase, wherein the emulsion is stable. The aqueous-gel outer phase can include 10% to 50% by weight of the total weight of the emulsion. This phase can also include 70% to 95% by weight of water based on the total weight of the aqueous-gel outer phase, a gelling agent, and an emulsifier having a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) value of 10 to 19. The water-in-oil inner phase can include 50% to 95% by weight based on the total weight of the three-phase emulsion. This phase can also include 50% to 80% by weight of water based on the total weight of the water-in-oil inner phase, 20% to 50% by weight of oil based on the total weight of the water-in-oil inner phase, and an emulsifier.
