Abstract:

A hand tool for applying a torque to a threaded fastener includes a tool body having an opening and a fastener engaging mechanism rotatably mounted in the opening. A control assembly comprising a cylindrical roller, spring assembly and control switch are mounted with respect to the tool body. The spring assembly biases the roller against surfaces on the tool body and the fastener engaging mechanism. The roller the releasably locks the faster engaging mechanism to the tool body when the tool body is rotated through a drive stroke. The tool body can be moved through drive and return strokes of any arc length with no significant lost motion.

Abstract:

A ratchet wrench includes a body with a head portion and a shaft. The head portion includes a cavity. A rotatable member is received by the cavity and is rotatable about an axis. The rotatable member has a plurality of teeth disposed around a circumferential surface thereof. A reversing member is pivotally mounted to the body, and is movable between a first position and a second position. A pawl is connected to the reversing member such that the pawl moves circumferentially relative to the axis of the rotatable member as the reversing member moves between the first and second positions. The pawl includes a plurality of teeth that intermesh with the plurality of teeth on the rotatable member. Substantially all of the teeth of the pawl remain intermeshed with the teeth of the rotatable member as the reversing member moves between the first position and the second position.

A method and apparatus is provided for network node emulation, including a node emulator, comprising a node interface, a memory, and a CPU. A method of generating an emulated network node includes the steps of generating an emulation script using a network node emulation language and operating a computer device according to the emulation script in order to transmit and receive data packets in the computer device. Abstract:

An efficient network formation technique for mobile ad-hoc wireless networks according to the present invention overcomes bandwidth overhead due to generation of database update or Link State Advertisement (LSA) messages in response to changes in certain parameters (e. g. , node group size, etc. ) with respect to both single and plural node group scenarios. The present invention controls flooding of LSA messages triggered by changes in these parameters (e. g. , node group size), thereby reducing overhead traffic during network start-up. This is achieved without impact on message delivery capability and group merge operations. After network start-up is complete and the network is formed, the present invention continues to reduce LSA flooding in a mobile scenario when radios or nodes move into and out of range with one another.

Abstract:

A storage structure includes a housing. A front wall is movable to and from a closed position closing a forwardly facing opening of the housing. The front wall includes an upper section covering an upper part of the opening in the closed position thereof and a lower section covering a lower part of the opening in the closed position thereof. The lower section can be moved generally rectilinearly relative to the upper section into generally parallel, overlapped relation with the upper section. Abstract:

Embodiments include a system, or platform, and method allowing financial institutions (FIs) to have access to an account opening platform that is capable of completing every aspect of the account opening approval process for the FI, and that is also capable of interfacing with their respective core systems (regardless of type or protocol) for receiving account opening requests from customers. Account opening requests may encounter permanent or temporary errors. When temporary errors are encountered, the account opening request is placed in a queue and automatically retried until the error is resolved. The account opening platform performs real-time integration with a variety of core systems such that approved new accounts are immediately “boarded” to the FI's core. In an embodiment, the platform is a plug-and-play” architecture such that adding the ability to communicate with new or different cores requires minimal effort. For example, no recoding of basic FMS software is required, but only coding of a plug-in module for a specific FI.
